🚀 Marvel Fusion Secures 60 Million Euro Series B Funding 🚀 We are excited to announce that Marvel Fusion has successfully closed our 62.8 Million Euro Series B equity financing round, led by HV Capital. Backed by our successful experiments at the ELI-NP, CALA Laser by the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and Colorado State University, the new funding will enable us to: • Continue demonstrating our fusion concept at existing laser facilities. • Ramp up production of our fuel targets. • Achieve full proof of technology with our Demo Facility in Colorado by 2027. In addition, we are honored to have been selected by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) for their Accelerator program. The program entails a grant of 2.5 million Euro to scale our fuel target production and an equity investment of up to 15 million Euro. This funding accelerates our roadmap to make fusion energy a reality. We look forward to continuing our work with our partners and investors to bring sustainable fusion power to the world. A big thank you to our investors, HV Capital, Earlybird Venture Capital, b2venture, Tengelmann Ventures, Deutsche Telekom via T.Capital, SPRIND - Bundesagentur für Sprunginnovationen, Bayern Kapital, @ATHOS, and PRIMEPULSE! #fusion #fusionenergy #deeptech Christian Saller, Fabian Gruner, Dr. Hendrik Brandis, Dr. Moritz Belling, Antonia Schmalz, Rafael Laguna de la Vera, Claudia Nemat, Sarah Röhm, Karine Peters

Germany faces a new orientation in its economy, politics, and its role in Europe. The traffic light coalition disbanded, and a new geopolitical agenda is on the horizon. The timing couldn’t have been better for this year‘s Süddeutsche Zeitungs SZGipfel, which congregated leading industry like RWE, Bilfinger, Airbus, and ING as well as the Ministers Annalena Baerbock, Boris Pistorius, Jörg Kukies, and CDU-chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz. Our COO Heike Freund joined to explore the promise and progress of fusion energy for the future economy and energy system. In a panel with Milena Roveda of Gauss Fusion moderated by Ulrich Schäfer, Heike shared Marvel Fusion’s commitment to harness fusion as a safe, clean, and limitless energy source crucial for a sustainable future. The world’s energy needs are at an all-time high, and will continue to rise due to the increasing electrification and energy hunger of AI superclusters. Germany should continue to strategically invest in fusion energy to secure its energy and technology sovereignty and advance and keep the technological expertise within Europe. Fusion energy stands out for its potential to deliver abundant green energy. #SZGipfel #CleanEnergy #Innovation

🌟 A new era for high-intensity laser research is here, and LaserNetUS is thrilled to be part of it! Last week, LaserNetUS Coordinator Chandra Breanne Curry, along with Félicie Albert, LaserNetUS Point of Contact for the Jupiter Laser Facility, and Roger Falcone, Chair of the LaserNetUS Scientific Advisory Board, represented LaserNetUS at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Advanced Technology Lasers for Applications and Science (ATLAS) Facility at Colorado State University’s Foothills Campus! LaserNetUS strongly supports this substantial $150 million investment in advancing high-intensity laser research. As the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Undersecretary for Science & Innovation Dr. Geraldine Richmond highlighted, this facility is “more than a building—it’s a leap forward for our community, bringing new technical capabilities, training, and career opportunities” that will strengthen the U.S.'s leadership in laser science. Thank you to CSU, Marvel Fusion, and the DOE for your vision and partnership. We’re excited about what this means for the future of LaserNetUS and for the next generation of laser scientists and engineers. 🚀
“As a top institution recognized both for research and for sustainability, CSU is a fitting home for our new laser facility. We have been a leader in laser research for decades, and our faculty are advancing critical technologies. This new facility will house one of the most powerful lasers in the world and establishes CSU as a nexus for laser fusion research.” – CSU President Amy Parsons Yesterday, we celebrated the groundbreaking of our newly named ATLAS Facility (Advanced Technology Lasers for Applications and Science), alongside distinguished speakers, including Geraldine Richmond, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s Under Secretary for Science and Innovation, U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse, and Marvel Fusion CEO Moritz von der Linden. Construction will start this month on the ATLAS Facility located on our Foothills Campus. Set to come online in mid-2026, the facility is the result of 40 years of laser development research at CSU in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Fusion Energy Sciences program in the Office of Science and a strategic $150 million public-private partnership with industry leader Marvel Fusion. Research there will include laser-driven fusion as a viable clean energy source. Get more information about the new ATLAS Facility: https://col.st/pcYPR
