XPONENTIAL Europe takes off – with a spectacular drone show over the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center! 🚀 From 18 to 20 February, Düsseldorf will become the capital of autonomous technology and robotics, bringing together the industry's leading minds and companies in the Rhine metropolis. As a special highlight, trade visitors can enjoyan exclusive drone show on the second day of the trade fair. 200 drones from our partner SIGMA System Audio-Visuell GmbH will hover almost 100 meters high, creating spectacular visuals in the Düsseldorf night sky. Designed exclusively for XPONENTIAL Europe’s trade fair audience, this show is only visible from within the exhibition grounds. But how does a drone show like this work? For 56 years, the show has amazed visitors with impressive boats, yachts, and the latest trends from all areas of water sports. Looking back reveals an incredible journey: In 1969, boot started with just 16 exhibitors at the old fairgrounds on Fischerstraße, attracting 34,000 visitors. Today, we are proud to host over 1,500 exhibitors and over 200.000 visitors from 113 countries! 🌍🚤 This journey wouldn't have been possible without the water sports enthusiasts and professionals who come to Düsseldorf every year. We’re turning up the heat 🔥 for Fortuna Düsseldorf! Sustainably! 🌍   At least, we’re working on it! The Messe Düsseldorf and Stadtwerke Düsseldorf AG are jointly exploring the feasibility of supplying both the exhibition grounds and the Merkur Spiel-Arena with environmentally friendly district heating in the future. The feasibility study focuses on the installation of the supply pipeline to the exhibition grounds and its extension to the arena.
