Collaboration and Innovation at Forum Rezyklat 2024 🌍 Recently, Anna Zießow our Co-Founder and Patrick Felber, Senior Customer Success Manager, joined the annual Forum Rezyklat meeting. Forum Rezyklat is comprised of circular economy experts who are motivated to collaborate on practical, consumer-oriented solutions for recyclable packaging and increasing the use of recyclates in packaging.💡 As one of the 180 active members, Recyda plays a key role in shaping new industry standards concerning digitalisation and recyclability. The Sustainability Awards 2024 took place on Tuesday, November 13th, in Amsterdam, recognising outstanding achievements in sustainable packaging. Last year, we were honoured to be one of the finalists nominated in the commercialized, Driving the Circular Economy category. It was rewarding to gain recognition for our efforts to advance digitisation within the industry. This year, we would like to extend our warmest congratulations to all winners, some of which included: 💡Henkel in the Driving the Circular Economy category for its circular PET film sourced from household waste, with the film comprising more than 80% recycled PET tray. 💡 Amazon and Mondi Group in the E-Commerce category with their recyclable paper-padded envelope for e-commerce deliveries, which is designed to phase out plastic-based bubble-wrap padding. 💡 Avery Dennison and BeFC Bioenzymatic Fuel Cells (BeFC) in the Pre-Commercialized Renewables category, with their organic battery based on Avery Dennison materials replacing non-disposable coin and button cell batteries. We’re excited to see how these leaders will continue to drive impactful change to fuel remarkable innovation in the sustainable packaging sector.
