Together, we're setting new standards in downgauging and paving the way for a cost-efficient production. 💪 The MOU is building on a 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱: ✅ Together we achieved a 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟴 µ𝗺 𝗠𝗗𝗢-𝗣𝗘 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺, produced with Reifenhäuser’s EVO Ultra Stretch technology and specially developed PE materials. With perfectly coordinated system technology and material formulation, processors will in future receive a tried and tested, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 in the field of flexible mono-PE packaging. 🌍 [Recap] MDO-PE Film Live Demonstration Event in Germany 🎉 Last week, we had an incredible opportunity to showcase a live demonstration in partnership with Reifenhauser Group at their Technology Center in Troisdorf, Germany. Together, we successfully produced the world's thinnest and most economical 18-micrometer MDO-PE blown film using their state-of-the-art EVO 7-layer Blown Film Line with EVO Ultra Stretch technology. Lariplast S.A., established in 1969, specializing in the production of rigid packaging for food and beverages, is entering a new market segment with their new 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗣 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 Reifenhäuser 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. The patented 𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗 Coextrusion Adaptor offers the necessary precision while saving on expensive barrier and tie resins. 💬 Angelos Tserepas, Head of Business Development at Lariplast (left), started the ambitious project, supported by Lars Bergheim, Area Sales Manager at Reifenhäuser Cast Sheet Coating (right). 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀: “Reifenhäuser knew from the very beginning what we needed. The technical know-how towards the end products and the solutions in machine design gave me a good feeling during the whole phase of the project. The application engineering department was also a great support for us. Together we developed a film structure which fulfilled all the expectations of our clients. The patented REICOFEED coextrusion adaptor technology of Reifenhäuser gives us the precision we need for our product portfolio. The world´s thinnest and most economical MDO-PE blown film on the market - sounds great? Our guests thought so too! Yesterday, in our Technology Center in Troisdorf, in collaboration with LG Chem, we showcased our EVO 7-layer Blown Film Line with EVO Ultra Stretch producing the groundbreaking 18-micrometer MDO-PE film. Our guests were impressed by the exceptional process stability and innovative technology. This leap in development was made possible by the combination of MDO Ultra Stretch Technology with suitable raw materials from LG Chem. Thanks to the patented position of the Ultra Stretch unit directly in the system's haul-off, the film is stretched from the first heat. We had many engaging conversations and the event was a resounding success. The enthusiasm and positive feedback from our guests reaffirmed the importance of downgauging for more sustainable yet profitable packaging solutions.
