We were thrilled to welcome over 200 guests to celebrate the opening of planqc’s new headquarters in Garching, near Munich. The atmosphere was electric, filled with excitement and forward momentum. We hope our highlight video captures this perfectly!   At planqc, we are committed to demonstrating that Germany can lead in the future of quantum computing. Our vision is rooted in decades of groundbreaking research from the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, strengthened by a robust ecosystem of partners.   We were honored to have Dr. Markus Söder, Bavarian Prime Minister, join us. His unwavering support, through initiatives like Munich Quantum Valley and investments from Bayern Kapital, has been instrumental to our growth. Bavaria’s vibrant startup landscape, supported by TUM Venture Labs, UnternehmerTUM, and the gate - Garchinger Technologie- und Gründerzentrum, is unique.   A special thanks to 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐧 from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, whose funding has enabled us to develop a quantum computer for the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre .Additionally, federal backing through the DTCF | DeepTech & Climate Fonds is an important investment in our mission.   We were delighted to welcome representatives from our partners and investors: Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, Leibniz-Rechenzentrum , German Aerospace Center (DLR), d-fine, Menlo Systems, TOPTICA Photonics, the 𝐌𝐚𝐱 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, UVC Partners, Speedinvest, i5invest, Amadeus Capital Partners, and APEX Ventures. Congratulations to our friends at Formo, who have not only announced a huge $61m Series B, but also launched their dairy-free cheese with their new strategic partner REWE! WOW! It feels like no time has passed since we built the Formo Pilot Lab together and yet the team has made such big progress - we can't wait to try their new product "Frischhain" in our local local REWE!

Exciting news from our friends at BioM Biotech Cluster Development GmbH - their new #MAxL #StartupIncubator has officially opened its doors at the IZB - Innovation and Start-up Center Biotechnology! We're happy to see this very important vision become a reality and proud to have contributed our part to it in the early days. In an extensive feasibility study, we gathered insights from our network of startups and condensed them into design ideas of how to realize a collaborative and shared lab space. Also, we checked if those visions will be possible in several locations and are more than happy that this new and very important element in our Munich Biotech Ecosystem found it's home in the IZB. And finally, we are very proud that this early feasability study played an important role in securing the 8.5m from the Bavarian Government to turn this vision into reality! 🚀 Exciting News! Nosh.bio's new HQ and R&D Lab in Berlin is complete! We're thrilled to have partnered with Nosh.bio to design and build their new HQ space in Berlin. In just 4 months we transformed vision into reality, creating a beautiful R&D lab and office area on 600m² - not just fast, but also in the most sustainable way possible. 🔬 Cutting-Edge Facilities The new space includes advanced fermentation labs, a functional kitchen for R&D, and integrated office areas to support Nosh.bio's groundbreaking work in sustainable protein production. Visit the project website to get a full tour! 🤝 Flexible & Agile Planning From location assessment with WISTA Management GmbH, through design and constructions, all the way to a seamless move-in, our collaborative planning approach ensured every detail met Nosh.bio’s needs, even accommodating rapid growth with a larger space. While we solved all infrastructure needs for their growth, this allowed Nosh to focus on important topics to their commercial roll-out, such as developing their single-ingredient meat analogue. 📈 Sustainable & Future-Ready With a focus on scalability and sustainability, we managed to integrate a complete second-hand laboratory plus another office and created this shiny new HQ, equipped to drive Nosh.bio's mission forward and set them up for what's ahead in their journey. 🏡 About Nosh.bio Nosh.bio harnesses the power of non-GMO fungi to create nutritional and highly functional proteins through its proprietary fermentation process. Wow, it's only been a week ago that we finished building this wonderful new headquarter and lab for Nosh.bio GmbH and seeing everything up and running and alive is just amazing. Enjoy your new space!
