🌟🚀Exciting news! EUSPA - EU Agency for the Space Programme has awarded Spaceopal the contract for advancing the Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS) Algorithm and User Terminal with the new HAUT2 project. Building on the success of HAUT1, this project contributes to Phase 2 of the Galileo HAS, bringing even higher accuracy and faster convergence through development of newer algorithms and a user receiver. The Galileo HAS Phase 2 improvements will deliver more precise corrections via the Galileo E6 signal and online, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of Galileo services worldwide. #EUSpace #Galileo #navigation Telespazio | DLR GfR mbH | German Aerospace Center (DLR)

🌌 Yesterday, at the beautiful Terrazza Martini during the 2024 International Astronautical Congress (IAC) week, we proudly celebrated 15 years of Spaceopal’s impactful journey alongside esteemed government representatives, institutions and industry partners. We would like to thank and Ennio Guarino, Head of Galileo and EGNOS Programme Department at European Space Agency - ESA; Walther Pelzer, Director General of the German Space Agency at German Aerospace Center (DLR); Giancarlo Varacalli, Head of the Telecommunications and Navigation Office at Agenzia Spaziale Italiana for their valuable contributions. Since our inception in 2009, Spaceopal has emerged as a leader in satellite navigation services, managing the #Galileo Service Operations with a commitment to excellence. Our role in the Galileo program has been pivotal, starting with in-orbit validation in 2010 and evolving into the Galileo Service Operator (GSOp) in 2016. CEO Folino Marco highlighted, “Our extensive experience positions us to ensure the stable performance of Galileo as we embrace future challenges with innovation.” COO André Bauerhin added, “I am incredibly proud of our dedicated team and excited for the next chapter of our journey in advancing European space programs.” We would also like to express our gratitude to Emilio Cozzi, the moderator of the evening, for his valuable contribution.
