🌍 Networking & Sustainability with Copenhagen Expat Network 🌍 Last night, we had the pleasure of participating in an inspiring event hosted by the Copenhagen Expat Network. Their mission to empower expats by equipping them with essential skills and knowledge aligns perfectly with our values of community, education and innovation. The event offered great opportunities to connect with others, discuss sustainability and circular economy solutions, and gain valuable insights into managing finances as an expat in Denmark—a crucial step toward building stability and sustainable lifestyles in a new country. 👏 A huge thank you to Rares Bagyo, Rina Yahya Cristian-Emanuel Anton and Matrikel1 for creating a space that fosters growth, learning, and support for the expat community while keeping sustainability at the forefront! 💡 Looking forward to future collaborations! 🌍✨ We’ve officially kicked off the #SwitchToEco project with our very first Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) in Oslo, Norway! This initial meeting gave us the chance to finally meet our partners in person and set our shared goals for the next two years 🌱. ♻️The "SWITCH TO ECO" project promotes eco-friendly lifestyles among youth by training youth workers in sustainable practices and bridging eco-practice gaps across Europe. Key activities include: 🌱training events 🌱toolkit development 🌱mobile app for youth-led initiatives. Our partners: 🇩🇰 Cirka 🇭🇷 Breza  🇧🇬 Innovations  🇷🇴 Oucreate  🇳🇴 Norwegian Climate Network were also our wonderful hosts! The TPM was held at the RE Gründerhus in Oslo, where we brainstormed, shared ideas, and mapped out the steps we’ll take to make a positive environmental impact together 🌿💡. Last Wednesday, we had the opportunity to attend "Making our way into authentic sustainability work," a workshop organized by cirka cph at Demokrati Garage. This event brought together a passionate group eager to dive deeper into what genuine sustainability really means. 🌍✨ In the parallel sessions, we explored a set of key questions, each structured to dive deep into authentic sustainability. We started by sharing where we find inspiration, exchanging ideas that fuel our passion for the environment. 🌱💡 Then, we got personal, discussing how we relate to the ongoing environmental crises and how we stay motivated despite the challenges.💪 Next, we explored who was in the room and the ideas we could create together, sparking some exciting possibilities for collaboration. 🤝Finally, we reflected on what we’ve achieved at cirka so far and brainstormed ways to step up our sustainability efforts. 🚀🔍 After these deep discussions, we came together for a common reflection session, sharing our ideas and identifying new opportunities to work together.
