𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘇𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝘁 Spin-outs Denmark!🎉 In 2024, we have:   ✅ 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 to brilliant researchers who share a common dream: to make a real impact in society. ✅ Held 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, distributing 11 grants in total. ✅ 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, giving participants even more opportunities to refine their skills. ✅ 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, ensuring researchers have high-quality tools to promote their innovative projects. ✅ Fostered 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 through our business developers, who actively support each other for the benefit of the innovative ecosystem in Denmark. 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: Collaboration Across the Ecosystem 🌱 Today, three researchers took the stage at KU Lighthouse‎ to pitch their inventions to a panel of experts, aiming to secure a one-year grant from the Spin-outs Denmark programme. Although all three pitchers come from the Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, the expert panel features a broader representation. One of the key takeaways? Spinning out and transitioning from researcher to entrepreneur involves more than just technical skills. It’s also about effectively communicating the problem you’re solving and making the most of your tools, experience, and knowledge🌱💡   This Masterclass also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Congratulations to the team behind FiBrane - An Ultra-Pure Water Solution for Offshore Green Hydrogen Production who has received an InnoExplorer grant from Innovation Fund Denmark 💧 𝐏𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 FiBrane’s cutting-edge membrane technology captures waste heat from electrolysis to efficiently convert seawater into ultra-pure water (UPW) for offshore green hydrogen production. Unlike traditional technologies, FiBrane's innovative two-step desalination process is low in consumables, compact, requires minimal maintenance, and is cost-effective, especially in offshore settings. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 👉🏼 Eliminates the need for extensive pre-treatment and complex systems. 👉🏼 Removes 99.99% of salts and impurities from seawater in a single pass. 👉🏼 Reduces the costs of producing UPW by up to 70%.
