New guesthouse | Vipp Todos Santos. A study in contrasts, ‘Vipp Todos Santos’ embodies a dialogue between Mexican and Danish design traditions. Set against the striking backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and dusty roads dotted with towering cacti, this architectural gem, designed by renowned architect Pablo Pérez Palacios and his Mexico City-based studio, PPAA, is a sophisticated blend of Mexican warmth infused with Scandinavian coolness. Vipp Todos Santos marks Vipp’s tenth guesthouse venture and its first outside Europe, opening a decade after the launch of the first guesthouse, the Vipp Shelter at Sweden's Lake Immeln. “Todos Santos has a very unique blend of topographies, history and influences. We are hiring | We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded A&D Sales Manager in Los Angeles with a solid network amongst Architects and Designers (A&D). You will be responsible for building our kitchen and furniture sales volume by networking and collaborating with architects and interior designers (A&D) on the US West Coast. Additionally, you will work with our end-users in the West region to further understand our target group – in close collaboration with the team in New York. The overall objective is to grow market awareness and turnover. Ideally you will reach – and perhaps exceed – the ambitious sales targets relating to the A&D community within the region. Ten years ago, we had a crazy idea: to upscale our collection with a livable product. We envisioned a way to escape the city with all the essentials — and nothing more. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Drawing from our long-standing tradition of metal craftsmanship, we created a 55m² steel pod in Denmark. We loaded it onto trucks, crossed the pond to Sweden, and gently placed it by a tranquil Swedish lake. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This became the Vipp Shelter: a pod of serenity, imagined as a large-scale Vipp product, meticulously designed down to the smallest detail and fully equipped with Vipp essentials. New Vipp Studio LA. Vipp has outfitted the offices of Blue Ox Films, creating a hybrid space that will act as a living showroom for their full range of products. Located in Venice Beach, Los Angeles, the 250 square meter, three-story space is designed by acclaimed architect Mark Mack, known for his modernist approach and seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The showroom is just steps from Abbot Kinney Boulevard, embodying the area's creative spirit. “Since Vipp arrived to the US ten years ago, we have seen our business steadily expand on the West Coast. We have found that the city has such a rich design scene and an incredible community of architects, designers and design lovers who appreciate that we stand for-long lasting, quality pieces that elevate the everyday. Today is the International Day of the Girl where we direct our focus to the power and potential of young females around the world. Almost 70 years ago, a young girl named Jette grew up in the provincial town of Randers, Denmark. In the backyard of her childhood home, her father’s metal workshop became her playground.
