1940 - Amrit Group was incorporated with first industrial venture Amrit Banaspati Company Ltd. 1980 - The paper business of Amrit Corporation Ltd had been vested in ABC Paper Ltd under the scheme of restructuring. The first paper mill was set up during the year. 2005 - 9 MW captive power plant was installed at the paper division. 2006 - Restructuring Scheme for the demerger of the paper business of the company into ABC Paper Ltd. was approved by the board of directors which was subject to the further approval of regulating agencies. 2007 -Restructuring Scheme approved by all concerned regulating agencies. 2008 -Equity shares of ABC Paper Ltd were listed to dealings on the exchange in the list of 'B1' group securities. 2009 - ABC Paper Ltd has appointed Shri. Ravindra Gupta as additional director of the Company w.e.f. September 29, 2009. -The Board has recommended payment of dividend @ Rs 0.70 per share on the Preference Shares of Rs 10/- each and @ Rs 2.50 per Share on the Equity shares of Rs 10/- each for the year . 2010 - The Board has recommended payment of dividend @ Rs. 0.70 per share on the Preference Shares of Rs. 10/- each and @ Rs. 1.00 per Share on the Equity shares of Rs. 10/- each for the year. 2011 -Registered Office of the Company has been shifted to ABC Paper Ltd, Factory Premises, Saila Khurd, Punjab-144529. 2012 -Company has changed its name from ABC Paper Ltd. to Kuantum Papers Ltd. 2013 -The company has announced dividend @ Rs. 0.70 per share on the Preference Shares. |
