LIVE: Manmohan Singh funeral: Ex-PM's final journey begins; last rites today, People pay last respects

An order from the Ministry of Home Affairs stated that former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will be accorded a State funeral with full military honours at the Nigambodh Ghat, a public cremation ground in north Delhi, on Saturday (December 28, 2024). The funeral will take place at 11:45 a.m. The mortals remains of Singh will be kept at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters for an hour from 8.30 a.m. for the people and Congress workers to pay their obeisance.
