The BLRT Grupp-owned BLRT Era has become an official Innomotics AB Advanced Repair and Maintenance Partner for SIEMENS electrical engines and generators. This December, the parties signed an agreement covering repair and maintenance services for Siemens engines and generators in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. This milestone was preceded by a comprehensive audit and confirmation of BLRT Era’s specialists’ competencies by Innomotics.   The agreement expands BLRT Era’s capabilities and enables the company to offer its customers a broader range of repair, maintenance, and upgrade services for Siemens products used on vessels, industrial enterprises, and various types of equipment. On 6 December, the President of Estonia, Alar Karis, and Ramūnas Dilba, Senior Advisor to the President of Lithuania and Head of the Environment and Infrastructure Group, visited our shipyard in Klaipeda. Distinguished guests explored the Western Baltija Shipbuilding facilities and ongoing projects, including a coastal patrol vessel for the Singapore Navy, a hybrid ferry for the Norwegian company Torghatten Nord, one of the most advanced fisheries research vessels in the world under construction for a German client, and a hydrogen-electric vessel commissioned by the Klaipėda State Seaport Authority. “Estonia is the largest investor in Lithuania’s maritime engineering industry, and this visit strongly reaffirms our close ties. Together, we are building future-ready ships, fostering regional growth, and driving innovation,” shared Arnoldas Šileika, CEO of the WESTERN SHIPYARD GROUP and Honorary Consul of Estonia in Klaipėda. In November 2024, BLRT Era professionals from Estonia and Lithuania attended training at Schneider Electric’s Global Field Service Operations Academy, in Fontanil, France. Upon successful training completion, they received certificates verifying their participation in the Low Voltage Retrofit & Maintenance training programme. On November 19, the Estonian office of BLRT Era welcomed Paul Artinian, a representative of NIDEC Leroy-Somer. The visit included a product presentation and service training by Leroy-Somer. The parties also discussed prospects for further cooperation.   BLRT Era is an official key partner of Moteurs Leroy-Somer SAS (France). BLRT Grupp Named Maritime Company of the Year!   On November 27, a prestigious recognition event organized by the Estonian Ministry of Climate took place at the TalTech Estonian Maritime Academy to honour outstanding achievements in the maritime sector. BLRT Grupp received the Maritime Company of the Year Award for the acquisition and implementation of a state-of-the-art floating dock measuring 180 meters in length, 30 meters in width, and boasting a 10,000-ton lifting capacity.    The floating dock, completed in spring 2024 and operational since August, has already serviced ten vessels. This facility enables BLRT Grupp’s Tallinn Shipyard to expand its capabilities, providing services for larger ships directly in Kopli while simultaneously boosting the potential of Estonia’s maritime economy.    The floating dock plays an important role in the Estonian Marine Greentech & Retrofit HUB, a strategic initiative focused on reducing carbon emissions in the maritime industry and advancing sustainable technologies.    Accepting the award on behalf of BLRT Grupp, Sergei Kravtšenko, Chairman of the Board of Tallinn Shipyard, stated: "This is not just an investment in our shipyard; it’s a contribution to the growth of Estonia’s entire maritime economy.
