ASUWind Projects 2025 Call, Join the Future of Wind Energy Innovation! We are excited to announce our 2025 Call for Graduation Project Students and Volunteers for the academic year 2024 – 2025! This year, we’re continuing our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and engineering excellence through four projects: ISWTC Wind Turbine (1 kW) Aeolus Race Wind-Powered Vehicle Offshore Wind Energy System (5 kW) Hybrid Wind/PV System (Luban Workshop) Product 1: ISWTC Wind Turbine (1 kW) Dive into the world of wind energy! Study turbine characteristics, conduct experiments in our wind tunnel, and optimize generator efficiency. You’ll have the chance to enhance sustainability through new materials and potentially participate in the International Small Wind Turbine Contest. Product 2: Aeolus Wind-Powered Vehicle Design and build a race car powered entirely by wind! This project includes chassis optimization, powertrain calculations, and the design of turbine blades to compete in the Aeolus Race Car Competition in the Netherlands. Product 3: Offshore Wind Energy System (5 kW) In collaboration with ENPPI, you’ll develop a wind energy solution for offshore oil and gas platforms. Your design will focus on minimizing weight and structural footprint while generating reliable renewable energy. Product 4: Hybrid Wind/PV System (Luban Workshop) Combine wind and solar power in one hybrid system! You’ll design turbine blades and solar panels tailored to site conditions, with numerical and experimental validation in the Luban Workshop. We are pleased to announce that our team has achieved the 1st Rank in the esteemed "Ebdaa’ 12" competition. Our team of dedicated engineers has successfully progressed to the secondary stage of the "Ebdaa’ 12" competition! This prestigious event, held annually in Egypt under the auspices of the President and organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, serves as a platform to showcase innovation and excellence across various fields, including engineering, medicine, journalism, and media. Throughout the past year, our team has devoted countless hours to the development of an innovative wind turbine. This endeavor has been a collaborative effort, drawing upon the talents of numerous engineers, including esteemed graduates whose ongoing achievements continue to inspire us deeply. Our journey has been marked by numerous challenges, yet through effective teamwork and communication, we have persevered. The competition consisted of two stages: initially, we competed at the Ain Shams University level, where we proudly secured the 1st rank in Engineering Innovations, Energy, and Cars. Building upon this initial success, we proceeded to the national stage of Ebdaa’ in Abo Keer, Alexandria, where we presented our turbine and achieved 1st place at both the university and national levels. Our project underscores our commitment to advancing renewable and clean energy solutions, in alignment with Egypt's Vision 2030 and sustainable development goals.
