🌱 On #WorldSoilDay, discover how conservation agriculture delivers tangible benefits for both farmers and ecosystems. The Agricultural Value Chains team at South Pole is working to bring farming systems into harmony with nature. South Pole’s agricultural experts visited a pioneering farm in France to observe regenerative farming practices in action. The visit highlighted the tangible benefits of conservation agriculture for ecosystems and farmers alike. Situated approximately 100 km from Paris, a 170-ha family farm run by Julien and Géraud has been passed down through generations. Although it didn’t always employ regenerative methods, the farm now champions cover cropping and agroforestry practices.
