In BeAble Capital SGEIC SA offices, the synergy between technology and lighting design not only provides healthy lighting but also raises the well-being of its workers. 💡 The lighting designers in charge of the project decided to use the Lutron control system to control the luminaires through the DALI standard. ☀ However, the main value to fulfilling the objectives of user wellness in this project resided in the optimization provided by KUMUX for the control and lighting characteristics. By automating the lighting settings throughout the day, KUMUX achieved the synchronization of artificial light with the natural rhythms of light. 💻 This project not only meets rigorous wellness and productivity standards, such as the WELL in circadian lighting but also adheres to the Lighting Research Center's criteria for workspaces, whose parameters require variations in lighting throughout the day. 🤩 At KUMUX, we believe in positive transformation through lighting innovation. 💡 Fernández Molina, a leading company in the construction sector since 1969, continues to make a difference with its commitment to quality, sustainability, and well-being. 🚀 KUMUX brings circadian lighting to GSK’s London offices   ✨ We’re thrilled to share our role in designing a lighting system that prioritizes user well-being at GSK’s London headquarters.  🤝 In collaboration with zencontrol ltd (uk), we implemented automated control curves for colour temperature and intensity, dynamically adapting throughout the day. 💡 New Case Study: Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya! The objective of this project led by CICAT (EDU-LIGHT) was to improve well-being and academic performance through an integrative lighting solution. KUMUX has played a key role in leading the optimisation of the circadian lighting system of a classroom for students and teachers of the Master's degree in Lighting Design at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). 💡 In collaboration with other companies in the lighting industry, a lighting system has been developed with state-of-the-art LED luminaires, optimised to reduce the circadian impact, adapting to the unique needs of classes at the UPC. For this project, KUMUX used its automated cloud-based system to adapt the colour temperature and light levels based on time, location and season, simulating the natural variation of sunlight and thus achieving a balance between visual comfort, energy savings and supporting the biological rhythms of students and teachers, facilitating concentration during classes and a smooth transition to rest at the end of the day. This project stands out as a pioneering example of how dynamic lighting technology can be integrated into educational spaces to transform the learning and well-being experience. EDU-LIGHT is a project coordinated and executed by the Cluster de Iluminación CICAT and the Health & Wellness Working Group of the Cluster, involving partner companies Asselum Luminotècnics, S.L., E2 INGENIERIA, ERCO, Giano Productora Ética, KUMUX, Lamp, Lutron Electronics, and Vossloh-Schwabe, with collaboration from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and support from ACCIÓ. #CICAT #EDULIGHT #masterlightingupc #UPCSchool

🤔 To understand how artificial light influences our circadian rhythms, it's not enough to know the colour temperature or efficiency of a luminaire. 💡 However, in most cases, luminaire manufacturers only provide data such as CCT (colour temperature), UGR (glare index) and CRI (colour rendering index). We need detailed information about the emitted light spectrum and this is where our platform comes into play. 🎯 Through advanced machine learning algorithms, we leverage an extensive database of light sources to estimate circadian impact, even when full spectral information is not available.
