On behalf of Aalto Private Equity Club, we would like to thank you once again for an amazing year! We are incredibly grateful to all our participants, partners, and sponsors for their enthusiastic engagement in our events throughout the year. This year, we organized our already established large events and smaller excursions, while also expanding our operations with exciting new programs like the PE Academy and the Level 20 Mentoring Programme. We’re also proud to have welcomed an even more diverse group of participants, including students from a variety of schools both nationally and internationally. Participants this year came from a wide range of academic fields and represented different stages of their academic journeys—from those just starting out to those finishing their studies. Now it’s time to take some rest for the Christmas holidays, but we hope to see you in our upcoming events next year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We are happy to announce that the Level 20 Mentoring Programme has officially begun! We’re thrilled to kick off this mentorship program with 14 mentor-mentee pairs, six in VC and eight in PE, featuring students from diverse fields such as law, engineering, and business, representing Aalto, Hanken, the University of Helsinki, and Vaasa. We had a fantastic evening at Dottir Attorneys’ beautiful office for the launch of the Mentorship Program! After warm welcomes from Johanna Rantanen - CEO of Dottir Attorneys, Level 20 Finland, Aalto Private Equity Club and wednesday., we heard from Ekaterina Gianelli, who shared her inspiring career journey in venture capital, discussing the challenges and rewards of building a successful career in a competitive field. Keynotes from Elise Haaksluoto and Maiju Aspegren explored career paths in private equity, offering insights and motivation to the next generation of investment professionals. To wrap up, Maiju shared a key piece of career advice: Don’t worry if you don’t have everything figured out; focus on learning, connecting, and shaping your path along the way. Thank you for joining us for the AaltoPEC x CapMan excursion! Last week, we had the opportunity to host an excursion with CapMan, where participants gained valuable insights into CapMan’s various teams and got to network with their wonderful professionals. After an inspiring program with presentations from each team, the evening was wrapped up with a delicious sushi dinner, providing the perfect setting for discussions with CapMan representatives.
