As we welcome this morning's news of the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire in Lebanon, we remind everyone that the work is not yet done. As Naqiya Ebrahim, Executive Director of Seenaryo shared at #HundrEDSummit: "Theatre and play might sound like a luxury given the enormity of challenges these challenges face, but mental wellbeing and a passion for learning are critical for every child to succeed later in life. It is our duty to work not just for resilient communities, but for a world in which resilience is a choice, not a requirement. Where children's lives aren't centred around surviving trauma, but around nurturing hope and potential." Although at first nervous, she quickly learned that young people also have an important voice in these conversations, and that "Knowledge is not age restricted". 🧠 "Being one of the youngest faces in the room, I was asked a lot of questions - and sometimes, young people like me have the answer."
