🌍 Yesterday, together with colleagues from Semantum Oy, hosted by Tommi Karhela, we held our annual webinar focusing on new features and development plans related to our LCA software Sulca. 🔍 Aapo Räsänen from Konecranes provided user insights. Marko Luukkainen and Reino Ruusu from Semantum introduced latest updates and functionalities related e.g. to uncertainty analysis, and Kalle Kinnunen from VTT presented how to apply the uncertainty assessment in practice using our favorite demo case about baking buns, originally developed by Katri Behm for educational purposes 📊 Together with Essi Paronen, we explained how we have applied Sulca for modelling and assessing VTT's annual GHG emissions covering scopes 1-3. Our company level model has proved to be quite useful especially for evaluating potential impacts of alternative future emission reduction means. It seems even more useful now, when we are in the process of defining a more detailed Climate transition plan according to requirements of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards. THTH Simantics Division organized an interesting webinar on September 24. Simulation based testing in system level has many similarities between domains like Aeronautics and Marine. Robert Hällqvist from Saab Aeronautics gave an interesting presentation about the simulation modularization techniques like FMI and SSP. Topics are especially interesting for the Finnish Marine industry where there are two big R&D projects (Virtual Sea Trial and Codes) ongoing related to simulation based testing.

We are joining and presenting Model Broker at the Cadmatic Connect Days in Rome. We are excited to show how Model Broker can be used to convert drawings into intelligent diagrams in Cadmatic P&ID.

We are happy to participate at this year’s DISC Show & Tell event in Stavanger. This is organized by the POSC CaesarAssociation, Equinor, Aker Solutions, Aker BP ASA and Aibel. We are showing our Model Broker toolset and we are happy to highlight our latest collaboration with Draga.
