🎬The final sessions of the day focused on critical discussions around climate and impact investments. 💡 During a panel on #deeptech impact with Linn-Cecilie Linnemann, Anna Fredrixon, Tor-Oskar Karlberg, and Navid Samandari the conversation highlighted both similarities and differences between Nordic countries. The panelists agreed that the Nordic startup ecosystem stands out for its high level of collaboration and shared positive traits. 🎙 Next, Xavier Gury delivered a brilliant keynote, AI – Powering the Future of Energy Transition. He showcased compelling data on AI’s dual role—both as a driver of energy consumption and as a tool for significant improvements in energy efficiency. 🚀 We were then treated by impressive pitches from VacuumWood.Tech, Amertate and rollyy at the Deep Tech Demo. Best of luck to all participants! 💬 At the panel “The Investors’ Perspective – What to Look for in Climate Tech” Beau-Anne Chilla, Duncan Turner and Christian Guba discussed how regulations impact climate tech and shared their thoughts on efficient investor strategies and innovation in this space. 🔑 Navid Samandari returned with a keynote, “Fundamentals I Learned About the Energy Transition from Building a Nuclear Energy Startup Over a Decade,” sharing his valuable lessons from a decade of green transition discovery. ⚡ A panel on “Supporting Deep Tech Innovation for the Energy Transition” with Namratha Kothapalli, Kevin R. and Hugo Hubert explored what startups, corporations, and ecosystems need to succeed in tech innovation. 🔥 The day wrapped up with an inspiring fireside chat featuring Oskari Jaakkola, CFA and Toni Mikkonen where Oskari shared key takeaways from scaling Cactos in the rapidly changing electricity storage market. ✨ At the Summit summary panel, Bikash Gurung, Bodil Sidén, and Tor-Oskar Karlberg reflected on the summit’s core themes: impactful #investing, nurturing #talent, and the future of #deeptech. ✨The day continues with talks and sessions on quantum innovation and AI for #DeepTech! 💡Himadri Majumdar, co-founder and CEO of SemiQon, talked about the advancements in quantum computing and emphasized the importance of leveraging the semiconductor industry's maturity to scale quantum computers. 🎙A Fireside Chat between Toni Lindén from KNL and Ville Heikkinen of Butterfly Ventures on KNL Networks' startup journey and finding customers in the Defense Sector. The chat highlighted the importance of having unique technology and personal relationships with defense customers to succeed in the sector. 🔑Keynote by Tero Ojanperä, founder of Silo AI, focused on the role of AI in #DeepTech startups and the challenges of differentiation. He emphasizes that #DeepTech startups need to focus on their expertise and market momentum to succeed in the rapidly evolving AI landscape. 🎙The keynote was followed by a panel discussion on AI Tech Innovations by Arnaud Barthelemy from Alpha Intelligence Capital, Tarun Sharma from Nokia Ventures, Tero Ojanperä from Silo AI and Maria Pennanen from Accelerator Frankfurt GmbH.
