We warmly invite you to Chateau Canet, a family-run wine and olive Domaine in the Minervois region of the Languedoc, South of France. A traditional 19th-century wine estate, Chateau Canet is today recognised as one of the leading domaines of the Minervois region in the heart of the Languedoc Roussillon. The 45 hectares of vineyards are complimented with 3 hectares of olive groves and over 65 hectares of farmland and pine forests. The setting is truly enchanting with all the buildings nestled in the heart of the estate. There are uninterrupted views over the vineyards and olive groves to the distant Alaric mountains. It is a perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of the South of France. You are welcome to come and taste our wines and wander into the cellars to discover the pace of life on a working wine estate. Or you may choose to stay for longer and enjoy a wonderful holiday in one of our charming guest cottages. And while on holiday, you can explore our vineyards, hike through miles of private countryside following herb-scented trails or use one of our bikes and venture further a-field, along the peaceful country roads surrounding the estate.

🇫🇷 Canet Family Estates, comme son nom l’indique, est une société familiale avec 3 domaines viticoles dans le Languedoc, un département hospitality et une activité de négoce. Aujourd’hui, à l’occasion de la Saint Charlotte, je suis heureuse de vous présenter : le Clos Charlotte. Situé au pied de la Montagne Noire dans le Cabardès, c'est une appellation où l’on peut assembler des cépages atlantiques et méditerranéens. Premières vendanges en 2023, deux cuvées sont nées : « La Gourmandise » et « La Décadence » (élevée actuellement en barrique). Il y a quelques jours, la cuvée « La Gourmandise » a été sélectionnée dans le TOP 100 des meilleurs vins du Languedoc. Un encouragement certain pour cet assemblage à base de Syrah, de Cabernet Franc et de Cabernet Sauvignon, vinifié avec beaucoup de soin en macération carbonique. Ici, une robe rubis profonde, un nez envoutant de cassis, de griotte et d'épices. Une bouche gourmande, fruitée et souple, avec des tanins ronds. Envie d’en savoir plus ? Today, to celebrate Saint Charlotte's Day, I'm very happy to introduce you to the : Clos Charlotte. Situated at the foot of the Montagne Noire in the Cabardès, this is an appellation where we can blend Atlantic and Mediterranean grape varieties. First harvested in 2023, two cuvées was born : « La Gourmandise » and « La Décadence » (currently aging in french oak barrels). A few days ago, « La Gourmandise » was selected as one of the TOP 100 wines of the Languedoc. It's a real encouragement for this blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, vinified with great care using carbonic maceration. Here, a deep ruby colour with a seductive nose of blackcurrants, cherries and spices. On the palate, it is delicious, fruity and smooth, with soft tannins. Want to find out more ?
