[We ACT for the planet 🌍] Colas’ Carbon Footprint: A New Target for Scopes 1 and 2 approved by the SBTi 46.5%: This is the new target Colas has set for 2030 to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions for scopes 1 and 2, related to our energy consumption. This new target, which has just been approved by the SBTi (Science-based Targets Initiative), is aligned with the Paris Agreement that aims to maintain a global warming trajectory of +1.5%. Colas’ previous target for scopes 1 and 2 was -30% by 2030 compared to 2019. #Partnership We are proud to announce a new chapter in our collaboration with the IECD-Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement in Egypt. IECD Egypt, through its program Seeds of Hope, seeks to build bridges between young people and the labor market through tailored vocational education programs in the industrial sector within 5 Egyptian technical schools. Their thorough intervention includes curriculum development, lab equipment, trainer capacity building, soft skills training, and student internships focusing on topics such as gender, environment, and entrepreneurship. #Compliance   On December 9, International Anti-Corruption Day, Colas Rail focused on our compliance and ethics procedures.   Videos were broadcasted to share again our key messages, and we reaffirmed our daily approach to ensure an ethical and compliant environment.   Ethics at Colas Rail? ✅Mandatory training for all new managers: 1014 employees trained since 2023, with 13 digital and 8 physical sessions. ✅A comprehensive ethics quiz with 240 questions: 1178 participants, 100% success rate in 2024 ✅A compendium of compliance application procedures ✅Digital tools and an alert system ✅Risk mapping   Ethics are at the heart of our ACT (Act & Commit Together) corporate project to ensure a responsible working environment. 🌍   #ColasRail #Ethics #Safety #Training

#InternationalVoluntaryWork   Today, focus on Elias Chiaoui, cost controller at Colas Rail, in Tunisia as part of an international voluntary work contract! 🚆   Originally from Dijon, Elias decided to do his international voluntary work after an academic career in management control. This choice enabled him to join Colas Rail in September 2023, where he now holds a position in Colas Rail’s Tunisian finance team.   🔧 On a daily basis, Elias manages customer invoicing, cash-flow forecasts, budget monitoring, and ensures constant communication with the field to guarantee the proper management of rail projects.   But beyond the technical assignments, it is the opportunity to gain international work experience and learn alongside expert collaborators that has helped him grow.   ✨ This experience in one word? Fulfilling! #Disability   To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we would like to highlight several of the many actions we took in 2024, because at Colas Rail, inclusion and diversity are not limited to a specific day: it's a year long commitment. 👊🏻   This year, we launched: ✔A “Something to declare” mini-series: to raise our employees' awareness of disability in the workplace. ✔A campaign featuring a few of our disabled colleagues around two slogans: “My skills are stronger than my disability” and “We all have a role to play”, again to raise awareness ✔A partnership with Trésor Gautier Makunda, Paralympic athlete, including conferences and sports challenges ✔A network of disability ambassadors, mobilized to support and raise awareness among their colleagues ✔A conference organized by COLAS' WE diversity network on visible, invisible disabilities and neurodiversity at work. ✔A Cap Emploi hotline in France aimed at informing & advising, in a strictly confidential manner, employees facing an occupational health issue ✔An action to support the fight against Charcot's disease   👉 Since January 2023, thanks to everyone's commitment, the number of employees declared as disabled has increased by 59%.   These initiatives demonstrate Colas Rail's commitment to promoting an inclusive working environment, where everyone feels valued.   #ColasRail #Inclusion #Diversity #Disability #Commitment

#RoadSafety From November 18 to 22, Colas Rail rolled out its first Road Safety Awareness campaign, in line with the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (November 17) 🛣 The objective was clear: 0 road accidents. To achieve this, we have set up a series of concrete high-impact actions. What was on the program? Among other initiatives: ✔Interactive webinar with videos & quizzes ✔Autopsy of a road accident ✔Rollover simulation ✔Dynamic exchanges to learn the best practices and adopt lifesaving behaviors. #BIM Last month, we were in San Diego to take part in Autodesk University, an event bringing together over 12,000 professionals from all over the world. In this session, we presented how Colas Rail is using BIM and automation to transform the design phases in the rail sector.🚆 ➡ After presenting our BIM expertise in the United States, we're continuing our mission of rail innovation in Copenhagen. A few days ago, at Rail Summit 2024 we've built on this momentum. This event, organized by Autodesk, is a unique moment to share our innovative practices and collaborate with experts from the four corners of the globe for a sustainable, digitalized future in rail. 🌟 Key takeaways from the conferences? BIM enables considerable time savings, greater precision, and higher quality in the design of systems such as catenary, tunnel ring segments, trackwork’s, video surveillance, and many others.
