    It’s another busy week of events for the team here at Eutelsat Group – find out where we’ll be, below ⤵️ Our maritime team are headed to Bergen, Norway for Digital Ship, where Paul Petit-Jean and Jaime González-Laguillo will be attending, including a speaking slot at 09:20 on Wednesday discussing how our multi-orbit GEO-LEO constellations can provide critical maritime connectivity services. Members of our connectivity team are attending the Space Tech Expo in Bremen, Germany, where Guillaume Scottez is speaking on a panel about how satellite connectivity can accelerate the future of the automotive industry. That’s at 14:30 on Wednesday. Thierry Polycarpe is also speaking on a panel tomorrow, 20th November at 16:00, addressing the key requirements and developments for satellite connectivity at sea and in the air. We’re also supporting our manufacturing partners, Intellian Technologies, at METSTRADE 2024, where they will be showcasing their newly released suite of compact flat panel user terminals, made for our Eutelsat OneWeb LEO network. Celeste Endrino-Cowley, Pascal Piloyan and Stephen Conley will be our expert team on site! If you’re attending any of the events, make sure to say hi! 👋

    Breaking news from AfricaCom! We have signed a new multi-year agreement with Q-KON, to expand our Eutelsat OneWeb LEO satellite services across Sub-Saharan Africa 🌍 This agreement will further accelerate the delivery of high-speed, low-latency connectivity to specialized and underserved businesses and communities, particularly in Southern Africa. It builds on the successful 2023 incorporate of our LEO satellite connectivity into Q-KON's Twoobii Smart Satellite Services and the launch of digital banking services in February 2024. Commenting, Cyril DUJARDIN, President of the Connectivity Business Unit for Eutelsat Group, said: "We are delighted to step up our relationship with Q-KON and we are honoured in the confidence Q-KON has placed in us following our initial successful cooperation. We are excited to continue to work with Q-KON as it leverages cutting-edge satellite network solutions to meet the challenging demands for low-cost, high availability, and trusted services in Africa."     A hugely successful day one of AfricaCom is complete; bring on day two! 🌍 Yesterday, our team opened up the Eutelsat Group stand at this year’s AfricaCom, speaking with guests, colleagues and partners from around the industry about our multi-orbit GEO-LEO satellite networks. Our Head of Multiscreen Services, Laurent LEVEIL discussed the role of satellite in a changing media landscape with BBC World Service’s Mary Lusiba, showcasing innovative satellite solutions combining DTT with DTH to reach a wider audience, and how new cutting-edge, standardized, broadcast technology is bringing multimedia education to regions where internet connectivity is not available. Today, you can see Philippe Baudrier, our VP Connectivity Africa, who will be on a panel discussing how to bridge the digital divide; driving ubiquitous connectivity for the future of Africa at 14:10PM. The three Compact Flat Panels #OW10HM (Maritime), #OW10HV (Land Mobility) and #OW10HL (Land Fixed), deliver unprecedented throughput in a user terminal of this size. Installation is easy as they are optimized for size, weight and power (SWaP) - they are only 56 x 45 x 12 cm, making them the smallest terminals across the Eutelsat OneWeb portfolio.     We recently welcomed customers and colleagues to our partnership event in Cancun, Mexico, to demonstrate the power of connectivity through Eutelsat Group ⚡ The event – hosted by our Americas team and attended by Eutelsat Group leadership – encouraged innovation and collaboration through industry-wide discussion and planning sessions; as well as live demonstrations of our high-speed, low-latency Eutelsat OneWeb low Earth orbit constellation. Speaking from the event, our Chief Executive Officer, Eva Berneke, said: “The future of connectivity is about connecting people and connecting objects. It’s about connecting us all, whether we are standing still, on the move, at home or at work.” Thank you to all of our colleagues and attendees that made this event such a success!

    This week, we welcomed a delegation from Singapore to our Eutelsat Group Headquarters in Paris to discuss our Eutelsat OneWeb LEO Government offering 🛰️ Representatives from the Defence, Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) – including Chief Executive Mr Ng Chad-Son – and ST Engineering visited the office to receive a live demonstration of our high-speed, low-latency LEO connectivity, as well as an open discussion around a LEO tactical network deployment concept. Thank you to our guests for taking the time to visit our team, and we look forward to continued discussions going forward!
