As part of the INFRACHIP project, we were delighted to welcome, for the Research Accelerator Program, 6 participants to the CROMA laboratory of CNRS-FMNT from November 19th to 21st at Le Bourget du Lac. During these 3 days, Emilie Herault and Maxime Bernier led the RAP, tackling the theme of Terahertz spectroscopy and imaging from both a theoretical and, above all, an experimental point of view. Several specialists accompanied them on this RAP: many thanks also to Jean-François Roux, Jean-Louis Coutaz, frederic GARET, Gwenaël Gaborit, Pierre-Baptiste Vigneron, Gournay Lucas, who addressed techniques such as THz emission and detection devices, THz pulse generation by optical rectification in crystals, THz detection by electro-optical sampling, pulse technologies for THz characterization, THz imaging. 🔔 New #training offer! This time, PhD students and early-career researchers can apply for a short training at Tyndall National Institute in Ireland! Participants will also be introduced to another programme – RISEnergy – from the European Commission, which offers free access to infrastructure for energy systems. ☝ This RAP is organised as part of brokering of services along with RISEnergy.

Successful Research Accellerator Programme on 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐳 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 organised by CNRS-FMNT!✨ ✳ During three days, participants discovered the basics of spectroscopy and imaging in the Terahertz (THz) rang and had the opportunity to work with the characterization systems available at CROMA Lab, in Le Bourget du Lac (France). Vendredi dernier, c'est au Minimistan qu'ont eu lieu les 8ème Rencontres FMNT. Au programme, restitution des travaux de stage 2024, présentation d'équipements soutenus par la FMNT et des exposés sur l'électronique durable, le labex, l'innovation. Une occasion également pour faire le bilan sur cet évènement qui accueille à chaque session une cinquante de participants. L'après-midi, les présents se sont répartis en groupe pour réfléchir à améliorer le rôle de chacun dans les axes stratégiques. Plein d'idées et d'actions à mener 👏
