🔊 We are immensely grateful to Caroline Essert who completes her term as #MICCAI Society President on Jan 31, 2025. 🙏 She joined the board in 2019, served as Co-Program Chair of MICCAI 2019 and General Chair of MICCAI 2021. Under Prof. Essert's leadership, the Society navigated the challenges of holding virtual conferences during a global pandemic and returned to in-person conferences with record participation. Deeply committed to diversity, she worked with the Board to foster broader global engagement by doubling travels grants and supporting our first conference in Africa, solidifying MICCAI's role as a global leader in our field.
