Se préparer au changement climatique avec ClimaDiag Expert 🌍 En 2024, nous avons initié une réflexion sur notre adaptation au changement climatique en réalisant le diagnostic ClimaDiag Expert sur notre site de Suippes, en partenariat avec la CCI GRAND EST et avec le soutien du programme Climaxion. Découverte de notre site de production pour la 13ème Semaine de l’Industrie 🏭 Nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir des étudiants issus de plusieurs formations techniques du lycée Oehmichen de Châlons-en-Champagne sur notre site marnais. Après une introduction à notre activité, les élèves et leurs accompagnants ont exploré nos ateliers, découvrant ainsi de près notre expertise industrielle. Cette visite fut l’occasion de mettre en lumière la richesse de nos métiers et, nous l’espérons, inspirer de futures vocations dans la métallurgie. Lebronze alloys is a world leader in the development and fully integrated production of high-performance specialty copper and nickel alloys and took part in the #ecoMetals initiative at wire and Tube 2024. 🏭 The responsible purchasing approach of the company integrates environmental criteria, including the procurement of recycled metals, particularly #copper, which can be recycled indefinitely without any loss of performance. Utilizing scrap metal instead of new materials significantly reduces the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with metal production, by a factor of 100 in the case of copper. ✅ Another significant element of the company's sustainability strategy is the development of substitutes for alloys that do not comply with REACH and RoHS regulations. Recognizing the environmental and health risks associated with traditional alloys such as CuBe2 and CuBe2Pb, the company has introduced a range of high-performance spinodal alloys, including Hardiall®, Niclafor® 1000, and Declafor. ℹ️ Additionally, the company has developed the EnviB® alloys range, specifically designed to replace traditional leaded brass while maintaining high machinability.
