🌟 Reflecting on Tunisia Chemistry Conference 2024 At the TCC this December, we had the privilege of presenting: "HTE kits: a strong optimization tool in organic synthesis, Suzuki reaction as a model system." Our session delved into how HTE kits streamline optimization processes in organic synthesis, showcasing their efficiency and cost-effectiveness. We were thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive response, with engaging questions and vibrant discussions both during and after the presentation. The audience showed great interest in the technology itself and its accessible, budget-friendly concept. Additionally, many attendees were eager to learn more about Novalix’s expertise and our innovative contributions to the field. Congratulations to Imen T., Project Manager Chemistry, for her talk, and a big thank you to everyone who joined the discussion and made this event a success! Let’s keep advancing science together. 💡 ▶️ Needing more details on chemistry at Novalix? https://lnkd.in/ec8mHwcQ #OrganicSynthesis #HTE #SuzukiReaction #Chemistry #DrugDiscovery #TCC2024 #BetterScienceTogether

💡 Organic chemistry literature spotlight 💡 Homologation might not be the trendiest topic in organic chemistry, but it remains incredibly practical for streamlining synthesis. 📄 This new article on carboxylic acid homologation using a radical-polar conjunctive reagent offers valuable insights into this classic methodology. ✨ A must-read for anyone looking to enhance their synthetic chemistry toolbox! Key features: ✅ Bench-stable reagent, prepared in just two steps. ✅ Impressive examples of homologation. ✅ A catalytic version using acridinium photoredox has also been implemented. 👏 Congratulations to the authors: Jonathan Gruhin, Richard Kim, Aristidis Vasilopoulos, Eric A. Voight, and Erik J. Back from the 26th Merck Organic Chemistry Symposium (MOCS) in Blankeberge—a gathering of the Belgian organic chemistry community. This dynamic event highlighted the ever-evolving nature of organic chemistry and its related fields. MOCS provided a platform for young researchers, PhDs, and junior post-docs to showcase their research alongside with renowned invited speakers. 🎤 Among this year’s notable talks: Claudia Bonfio (University of Cambridge): "Shaping Early Life—Supramolecular (bio)chemistry and its use to understand cell-like behavior and dynamics. Géraldine Masson (ICSN at CNRS): Combining Asymmetric and Photoredox Patalysis for the synthesis of chiral amines Thibault Gendron (Université de Liège): Radiochemical challenges in Nuclear Medicine Daniele Leonori (RWTH Aachen University): Modern approaches and methods in Photochemistry and Photocatalysis. As a proud sponsor, Novalix is delighted to have participated in this inspiring event. Not only did two of our colleagues enjoy the great research and lectures, but we were also honored to award the Novalix Best Lecture Prize to a young researcher: 🏆 Logan Salamone, PhD, for his oral contribution entitled: "Nickel-Catalyzed Stereospecific Alkylation of Vinylsiloxanes using Pyridinium Salts". 👏 Congratulations to all contributors for pushing the boundaries of organic chemistry, and thank you to Stéphane VINCENT from Université de Namur for the great organization!
