Entre les flux massifiés aisément couverts par les transports en commun (quoiqu’il reste encore de fortes marges de progrès !) et les autres déplacement dominés par la voiture, existe-t-il une place intermédiaire ? Le transport à la demande a fait beaucoup de promesses ces dernières années. L’ajout de la technologie pour réserver et optimiser les courses en temps réel pourrait largement faciliter le recours à cette solution. C’est tout l’enjeu du TAD dynamique ou Demand-Responsive Transport (DRT). Pourtant, la réussite de ces services nécessite une stratégie clairvoyante autour de certains cas d’usage bien définis. In October, we had the fantastic opportunity to meet with a German delegation of thought leaders in the mobility industry here in Paris! Innovation and strong partnerships are the foundation for making autonomous on-demand transport a reality, and this event has proven the power of international cooperation and the exchange of innovative ideas. Following a relaxed group lunch, we were thrilled to hear from Navya's Bertrand Mourey and Dr. Adam ADWAN as they shared impressive insights into the brand’s vision for advancing autonomous driving systems. We also had the pleasure of seeing our own team, led by Javier Guimerá Tena and Atziri Guadalupe Sanchez Contreras, highlight key projects that Padam is involved in, including the cutting-edge work within ULTIMO project, a European-Swiss cooperation initiative. Together with Emilie Blotiere, Atziri presented the cross-sector initiative that is working to bring shared autonomous shuttles to public transport on a large scale. Encounters such as this one, once again make it clear that it is ultimately the exchange of experiences and the discussion about the most important challenges and demands on technology that will help us in our efforts to promote public transport. It was a real honour to be at Campaign for Better Transport’s parliamentary reception on Wednesday. I had the chance to speak about the work Padam Mobility does and digest all things DRT and public transport from the latest budget. We're excited to conclude this year's Community Transport Week by showcasing the #Solent Region’s innovative approach, which integrates community transport into its future transport zone by digitizing dial-a-ride services through our platform. This will increase the visibility of community transport and make it easier to book online.
