By choosing cooperation and alternative business models, these experts aim to harness hemp for sustainable, human-centered projects that benefit our territories. 🌿 Julien Bonnet will present the dynamic work of Virgocoop. A key figure in #bioeconomy and ecological transition, Julien is reviving the historical hemp sector in his Occitan region. As the co-founder of Coopérative Chanvre Occitan, the processing arm of the Virgocoop cooperative, he supports farmers from seed selection to hemp harvest, overseeing processing stages from fiber extraction to finished products (excluding textile manufacturing). Julien champions collective intelligence, engaging in R&D projects and fostering strong ties with textile industry players. 🌱 Estelle DELANGLE will share the story of the co-construction of the Hemp European Hub. With a background in political science and international relations, Estelle has been leading cooperative projects for nearly 20 years, specializing in funding and managing European partnerships focused on regional economic development. She is now driving the deployment of the Hub in collaboration with industrial, territorial, academic, and SME partners, all united by the vision of making hemp a driver for territorial transitions.
