“Miserable Without Your Love” is one of two songs produced by “Fryars” for Lily’s “Sheezus” album. The bonus track is only available on the deluxe album.

The song written from Lily’s perspective showcases her vulnerabilities and relationship with life in the music industry.

Since the songs release in 2014 Lily has opened up more about this relationship, in a 2018 interview with “Vice Meets” Lily talked about her love for music, singing and performing but revealed more about her attempts to conform with the glamour, red carpets, and free stuff. This goes part way to explaining the lyrics in verse 1.

She continues to describe her experience in the music industry as:

and referred to her feelings after attepmting to conform which would lead into the lyrics of verse 2.
