  • While we recognize the advantages of online learning, we can’t deny the power of in-person peer collaboration. Our hubs were designed to be vibrant spaces where our community members can connect, experience events, exchange ideas, and build meaningful networks. Whether you’re brainstorming with peers, finding your next big opportunity, or simply soaking in the energy of like-minded thinkers, our hubs are where growth happens. With that said, we’re sad to say goodbye to the East Legon hub and excited to announce that our brand new hub at One Airport Square is officially open 💪 #alxghana

“I landed a job in tech without a university degree, and I’m here to tell you that your aspirations are not impossible. Hello, I’m Manny and I developed an interest in working with computers at a young age and, in 2015, decided to learn game programming. Between 2015 and 2019, I worked on many small games, most of which I didn’t share because they remained unfinished. Around 2021, I revisited my basics but encountered a skill ceiling I couldn’t overcome, no matter how hard I tried. In 2023, my brother sent me a link to register for the ALX Software Engineering program. Through this program, I developed a growth mindset that enables me to tackle any technical challenge. I also learned to break through the ceiling that had been holding me back. By 2024, just six months after graduating, I secured an internship as a backend developer. Through ALX, I’ve developed the ability to approach problems—whether new or old—from multiple perspectives. I’ve also gained confidence in my technical skills and understanding of key concepts and have been working on challenging projects that deal concurrency, networking and stream handling. I’m forever grateful for the 15 months I spent in the software engineering program and for how much I’ve grown.” Connect with Manny Quansah 🚀

Supporting Health Policy Professionals with tailored Virtual Assistant Service || Professional Nurse || Aspiring Health Policy Analyst || Global Health || Passionate Volunteer

Here’s a fun fact about me: I love organizing! ❤️ I am in my element when things are structured and running smoothly. Whether through prioritization, creating schedules, coordinating a project, or drafting documents. In my circle, I’m the go-to person for anything involving documents—communiqués, reports, presentations, you name it! Speaking of documentation, here’s a little secret: I’m passionate about volunteering! (I love to help, which is one reason I chose to become a #nurse.) Over the years, I’ve served as Executive Secretary to individuals and held similar roles in almost every organizational group I’ve belonged to, including #PHANET and Scribes Global Now, here’s the exciting part: I aspire to become a Health Policy Analyst and want to leverage my organizational skills to support professionals in the field as a Certified Virtual Assistant offering tailored services. In policy analysis, key processes include: ✔ Problem Identification ✔ Research and Data analysis ✔ Communicating with stakeholders ✔ Policy Development ✔ Monitoring and Evaluation These are precisely the areas I’d like to assist with! The goal is that by offering virtual assistance to health policy analysts, I can gain hands-on experience while helping them stay focused on the bigger picture. So, why connect with me, Anna Mensah ? ✔ Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. ✔ A track record of success in administrative and volunteer leadership roles. ✔ An aspiring health policy analyst eager to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to global health. ‼️I'm happy to offer volunteer virtual assistance to any Health Policy Analysts who need help with time-consuming tasks. If you'd like to lighten your workload, send me a DM and let's get started‼️ Repost ♻️ you might be the reason I get connected to seasoned health policy analysts I can learn from. 😘 ~~~~~~~~~~ P.S. I'd love to hear about your career aspirations! Drop a comment telling your story! 🤝 #day5 #LinkedInwithmabeldarko #mystory #healthpolicy #virtualassistance
