We value your partnership, The Si Se Puede Foundation and Arizona FIRST LEGO League, for your ongoing support. Your contributions are instrumental in developing children who are prepared to compete on a global scale.
To continue our support of The MakersPlace's efforts to grow the FIRST Lego League community in Ghana, the high school robotics team I mentor partnered with Arizona FIRST LEGO League to write a grant asking for more LEGOs. Our call was answered as we just received 50,160 bricks (over 100 lbs of LEGOs), just in time for the holidays!

I had an incredible experience collaborating with global thought leaders in education at last week's recently completed OPPI Global Conference held in Mello, France. OPPI Global is a dynamic community of education innovators—bringing together thought #leaders #businesses #policymakers #educators #trainers dreamers and #doers to reimagine the future of learning. This year’s event was particularly special as we celebrated the 10-year #anniversary of this inspiring network. As an Arm #Ambassador, Micro:bit Educational Foundation #Ambassador, and the founder of The MakersPlace I was honoured to lead a session titled: “Insights on Leveraging Arm-based Tools and Resources to Enhance the Educational Ecosystem.” During the session, we explored how educators can leverage tools from Arm via the #DeveloperProgram and #ArmEducation as well as resources from Arm #partners like Micro:bit Educational Foundation, Arduino Education, COSI - Center of Science and Industry, and Raspberry Pi Foundation These initiatives are designed to establish a strong educational foundation that fosters vibrant, tech-driven learning environments. The engagement from educators led to further discussions about various scenarios and use cases for integrating these tools into their classrooms.
