You’re going to be waiting a long while for Peacemaker season 2. Two more looks at Joker: Folie à Deux give us some tiny new snippets from the film. Plus, The Batman‘s Matt Reeves teases the dark American dream of The Penguin. To me, my spoilers!
King Spawn
During a recent interview with Comic Book, David Dastmalchian revealed he’d like to play Detective Maximillian “Twitch” Williams in Todd McFarlane’s King Spawn.
I’ve always said to Todd that there is this couple of guys that are hanging out that are in the Spawn Universe and one of ’em’s kind of lean and tall, a little bit geeky…I always felt like there was a space for me over there. I don’t like to put ideas in executives’ heads, but I’ll just throw it out there.
Shell
Bloody-Disgusting has a poster for Shell, the other upcoming horror movie about a beauty treatment gone wrong. Starring Elisabeth Moss and Kate Hudson, the story concerns a “down on her luck actress” named Samantha Lake (Moss) who “is invited into the ultra glamorous world of Zoe Shannon (Hudson), CEO of health & wellness company Shell. When their patients start to go missing, including starlet Chloe Benson (Gerber), Samantha realizes Shell may be protecting a monstrous secret.”
V/H/S Beyond
Elsewhere, Fangoria has the poster for the latest installment of the V/H/S franchise.

Hold Your Breath
Sarah Paulson believes there’s an evil intelligence behind the Dust Bowl of 1930’s Oklahoma in the trailer for Hold Your Breath.
The Boys
During a recent interview with Total Film, showrunner Eric Kripke teased “there will probably be lots of death” in the series’ finale of The Boys.
There will probably be lots of death. So many series finales suck, and it’s really hard to land the plane. I am very grateful to Amazon for giving me the opportunity to end it on our own terms, but for sure, I feel lots and lots of pressure to end it well. Because I think if we can stick the landing, then people will be like, ‘That’s a great show!’ But if we s*** the bed, people will say, ‘Oh, it was a good show, but they s*** the bed.’
Peacemaker
According to IGN, the second season of Peacemaker will “arrive at some point in the second half of 2025 after the July 11 release of Superman.”
