🚀 Exciting Updates: A New Website, an Army Story, and a Global VR Insights Community! How does a helicopter ride in the Greek Army connects with launching the first-ever global VR community for crowdsourcing consumer insights? Here’s the story. 👇 Four years ago, during a night patrol in the Greek Army, Loukas Kakalis and I found ourselves debating food and data. From that conversation, Digital Bites was born—a small idea that grew into something bigger. One year and countless brainstorms later, we locked in our mission: using VR to revolutionize market research. Along the way, Vasilis Lyras joined us as a co-founder, and together, we turned this vision into reality. Our pilots with companies and universities showed that VR delivers realistic consumer testing and incredibly accurate data—proving how much we could reduce time-to-market and improve product success rates. Special thanks to Haris Lalatsis, ierax analytix and Pescanova Hellas for trusting from the very start and believing in our vision. This summer, after speaking at the ESOMAR Congress, I realized: how do we make this groundbreaking tool scalable without compromising speed or accuracy? The answer: crowdsourcing insights from a global pool of VR users.
