Today at the #RTR2025 Conference, #SYNCHROMODE had the chance to participate in the afternoon session together with ACUMEN Project and DELPHI_EU project, delving into Multimodal traffic management for door-to-door transport of passengers and freight  Thank you to Dimitris Tzanis for providing insights of #SYNCHOMODE ! Sleeves rolled up for #SYNCHROMODE! 🚦 Earlier today, #SYNCHROMODE sat a fruitful session at the Multimodal Traffic Management Cluster workshop with the other projects DELPHI_EU project and ACUMEN Project    All projects presented their use cases along with their technologies progress and their technology readiness levels. The dashboard provides a detailed overview of the real-time traffic situation including weather, rainfall and incidents in the northern region of #Zuid-Holland. The dashboard will also show: 🚌 public transport positions 🕝 delays 🚧 roadworks 🌦️ weather predictions ♒ bridge openings In the upcoming period, the Synchromode toolbox will be expanded with prediction modules to anticipate upcoming traffic situations even better. 🌟 POLIS Conference 2024 Recap! 🌟 Last week, I had an amazing time at the #POLIS24 in Karlsruhe. It was a great event, and I was excited to share the final results and lessons learned from the TANGENT Project. After more than 3-years of intense work, together with Arka Ghosh, PhD from our coordinating partner University of Deusto, we presented the TANGENT tool and services, and the main conclusions from its testing in our 4 Case Study sites: Athens, Greater Manchester, Rennes and Lisbon. I talked about the insights gained from the multi-actor cooperation processes and the importance of a well-structured governance scheme to ensure regular strategic alignment among involved stakeholders and the contribution to key policy goals and societal needs, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness and suitability of our Multimodal Traffic Management efforts. We found that exploiting synergies with Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (#SUMP) processes can be extremely beneficial, strengthening continued engagement during the implementation phase of the SUMP through MTM solutions, supporting data-based planning and providing great tools to facilitate scenario evaluation. I also loved catching up with so many colleagues and friends. Plus, I got to share about our work on other awesome projects like FAME - Connected Automated Driving in Europe, DREAM_PACE, and SYNCHROMODE Project with those who stopped by the Rupprecht Consult GmbH stand. Big thanks to everyone who made this event so memorable and productive! Looking forward to continuing our collaborative efforts and driving innovation in the field. 🚦 𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗔 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗮𝗼 🇪🇸 💃 The SYNCHROMODE partners gathered for their 4th GA in Bilbao, from 20th to 22nd of November 2024 hosted by Universidad de Deusto.  This assembly was organised at the mid term of the project, giving the opportunity to take a step back on what was achieved and plan what still needs to be done to achieve complete success of the project. The technical partners are developing the SYNCHROMODE toolbox: this toolbox will include several modules to provide new predictive and network optimization capabilities to transport managers for balancing the transport supply and demand and react to different types of events. The three implementation sites, the #ProvinceofSouthHolland, #Thessaloniki and #Madrid gave updates about their experiments and shared their needs up to the end of the project.
