【IHH Group CEO Global Town Hall 2025: Embracing transformation】 Themed “Transforming Together: From Ideas to Impact”, the GCEO Global Town Hall was an inspiring and engaging one in which colleagues from different markets were taken through the Group's development and transformation agenda and the key milestones attained across various markets in the past year, including some enviable achievements by the Hong Kong team. This year, we were particularly excited about supporting our senior radiation therapist Ryan from Gleneagles Hong Kong who pitched, on stage as one of the few finalists, his innovative idea of building a comprehensive healthcare support network for the elderly in the IHH Ideacles Challenge!

【Gleneagles supports Hong Kong International Horse Show to promote sports and sports health】 #Gleneagles was delighted to participate for the first time as a sponsor of the Hong Kong International Horse Show (Horse Show) held in AsiaWorld Expo on 14 to 16 February. Riding on our support to this major event, we have launched a series of health educational campaigns and promotional offers with the hope of promoting public understanding of and interest in equestrian sports whilst raising awareness of sports health. These include limited offers on the robotic arm assisted spinal fusion surgery package leveraging our newly introduced robotic system, and the osteoporosis screening package, allowing patients to receive early bone health screening and timely treatments. During the three-day event, we also had the pleasure of interacting with local and overseas audience and introducing to them the service networks of IHH Healthcare and Gleneagles Hong Kong. Living our aspiration to “Care. For Good.”, Gleneagles is committed to connecting with the community and contributing to the health and wellbeing of all.

【Connecting the Belt and Road and Mainland China markets with Hong Kong's world-class healthcare standards and services】 Industry leaders, enterprises, professional organisations and more gathered at the Belt and Road Cross-professional Forum organised by the Belt and Road Office of the HKSAR Government to exchange insights into how Hong Kong's professional services could seize the emerging opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative. In a plenary roundtable which discussed Hong Kong professional services acting as a two-way springboard linking the Belt and Road and the Mainland China markets, Dr Kenneth Tsang, Regional Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare North Asia and Chief Executive Officer of #Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong shared how Hong Kong fits into IHH Healthcare's regional and global strategic plans, including some showcases of Gleneagles Hospital in Hong Kong facilitating local and international health tech start-ups and healthcare equipment conglomerates to bring their services and innovations into Mainland China and nearby regions. Dr Tsang also highlighted the role that private hospitals in Hong Kong could play to help promote the Mainland's hospital accreditation standards to other Belt and Road countries as well as the global markets.

【Positioning Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area as a global leader in medical tourism】 Gleneagles had the pleasure to speak at the From GBA to Global Health Summit organised by New Frontier Group, an occasion where industry leaders, hospital administrators, healthcare providers and clinical specialists discussed the latest developments and trends in a spectrum of topics related to healthcare development in Hong Kong and the GBA. Dr Kenneth Tsang, Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong and Regional Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare North Asia, shared in a panel discussion how IHH Healthcare harnesses its international network and expertise in contributing to medical tourism in its different operating markets including Hong Kong and mainland China. He also highlighted the importance for Hong Kong and the GBA to work closely with universities in developing medical tourism and attracting global patients.

【 Gleneagles and Varian join hands to promote training and development in radiation oncology 】 #Gleneagles and Varian Medical Systems has recently signed an agreement on training collaboration to advance training and nurture professionals in radiation oncology while enhancing healthcare development in Hong Kong and nearby regions. In 2023 the development of a radiotherapy reference centre at Gleneagles, which was the first of its kind in the private healthcare sector in Hong Kong, marked an important milestone of the partnership between Gleneagles and Varian. The partnership has continued to evolve, and recently, through the establishment of the Training Centre of Radiotherapy and Oncology at Gleneagles, more comprehensive education and clinical training programmes for radiation therapy professionals in Hong Kong, Mainland China and beyond will be on offer to foster the development of the latest radiotherapy treatment techniques and technologies. 【 Contributing to Hong Kong's Para athletes' health 】 #Gleneagles strives to promote inclusivity in tandem with delivering excellent healthcare. In addition to perseverance and rigorous training, good physical health is crucial for the athletes to achieve their peak performance. We are pleased to partner with the Sports Association for the Physically Disabled of Hong Kong, China to provide free health screening for 130 Para athletes. Supported by our volunteer doctors, the athletes also receive health advice in accordance with their individual conditions.
