Rólunk
Green Eyes Production is a sustainable consultancy, working across the Film, TV and Media sectors. We look at a project’s lifecycle as a whole, from the script stage, through pre-, production, and post- to all the way to the final windows of festival, sales and distribution. Our motto is: 'livable sustainability'. We will assess your project, and help you devise a tailored, effective plan how to be more carbon neutral. We provide a calculation and a detailed report at the end of the project. We are constantly on the look out for new, and innovative technologies, partners to work with (so do get in touch!). Our goal is to find solutions, that work for everyone - the film crew, the producers and Earth. We also keep in mind the economical restraints, consider the local differences in each territory and strive to build a balanced strategy that aids the production flow whether it’s a 6 month shoot or a 3 day commercial. Our founders are experienced green stewards themselves, who learned their craft by sweat and laughs, digging through the waste on blockbuster studio projects, as well as smaller independent productions. Our mission and goal as environmental professionals is ‘REUSE, REDUCE, RECYCLE’. We love what we do and strive to bring this passion and enthusiasm with us, wherever we go.

Repost from Hollywood Climate Summit As Bonnie Wright put it at last year’s #HollywoodClimateSummit, storytelling isn’t about prescribing action—it’s about showing what’s possible. When people see themselves in these stories, they realize: ‘Oh, I could do that too.’ Activism isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s local, personal, and uniquely yours. Whether it’s rethinking your daily choices, mobilizing your community, or reshaping entire industries—how you show up matters. Tag a friend who’s making a difference in their own way. ⬇️ #ClimateAction #GoGently #HCS2025 #BonnieWright #Activism #Sustainability #StorytellingForChange #EcoFriendly #Media #EnvironmentalJustice #ClimateCrisis #GreenHollywood #IntersectionalEnvironmentalism

🚆🚗✈️ Choosing the Right Transport for a Greener Future! 🌍♻️ This insightful breakdown by Visual Capitalist highlights how our travel choices impact the environment. 🚶♂️🚲 Opting for trains, carpooling, or long-haul flights over short ones can significantly reduce carbon emissions! 💡 Key takeaway? Small changes in our daily commutes and travel plans can make a big difference in sustainability. Let's rethink our routes for a cleaner planet! 🌱🌎 📢 Credits to Visual Capitalist for the valuable insights! Comparing the Carbon Footprint of Transportation Options Credits to Visual Capitalist . Follow Them for more valuable insights. Original post: __________ As concern about climate change has grown, individuals are becoming increasingly conscious of their impact on the environment. Transportation emissions often make up the largest portion of our individual carbon footprints. For that reason, evaluating transport options is a natural place to start, whether it is for a daily commute or a leisure trip abroad. So, what’s the most eco-friendly way to go from one place to another? The above infographic charts the carbon footprint of transportation per passenger-kilometer for different vehicles based on data from the UK Government’s methodology paper for greenhouse gas reporting. Planes, Trains and Automobiles: How Carbon Footprints Compare The carbon footprint of transportation is measured in grams of carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalents emitted per person to travel one kilometer. This includes both carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. Flying on a short flight or driving alone are the most carbon-intensive travel methods. However, adding one more passenger to your car ends up cutting the emissions in half, making driving more efficient. Specifically, it’s worth breaking down categories of flights more, as their emissions depend greatly on their route length: Short Flights: For example, domestic flights within a European country, or flights within a U.S. state have the highest individual carbon footprint. Medium Flights: For example, international travel within Europe, or between U.S. states, have a significantly lower carbon footprint per person. Long Flights: Flights over 3,700 km (2,300 mi), about the distance from Los Angeles to New York, have the lowest carbon footprint per person. Why are longer flights far more eco-friendly than short-range flights? It’s because take-off uses much more energy than the ‘cruise’ phase of a flight. For short flights, the efficient cruise phase is relatively short-lived. See the full article on visualcapitalist.com : https://lnkd.in/dAridKQ9 __________ ♻️ Find this post useful? 🌍 The World is Running Out of Sand – Here’s Why It Matters 🏗️🏝️ Sand is the second most-used natural resource after water. It’s in our buildings, roads, and even phone screens. But our demand is stripping rivers, beaches, and ecosystems bare. 🏜️ Not all sand works for construction – desert sand is too smooth, so we mine billions of tonnes from riverbeds and coasts, causing erosion, habitat loss, and even deadly conflicts. 💰 Illegal sand mining is rising, fuelling organised crime and environmental destruction. Without action, the impact will be devastating. Read the entire article https://lnkd.in/gdJqm9W #SandCrisis #SaveOurPlanet #SustainableLiving #ClimateAction #Urbanisation #ThinkSustainably

Amazing stuff! Coldplay is Turning TRASH into MUSIC! 📀✨ Coldplay’s limited-edition vinyl records are crafted from recycled plastic recovered from rivers, showcasing the power of the circular economy! Instead of relying on new materials, these innovative records repurpose waste that would otherwise damage marine ecosystems. 🎥 Check out the video by The Ocean Cleanup to learn more! #Coldplay #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #PlasticPollution #EcoInnovation #MusicForChange

Coldplay is turning TRASH into MUSIC! 📀 Coldplay’s limited-edition vinyls are made from recycled plastic recovered from rivers. Instead of producing new materials, these records repurpose waste that would otherwise harm marine ecosystems. It’s circular economy in action! To put the plastic pollution in perspective: ➡️ 12 million tonnes of plastic enter the ocean annually. That’s like dumping a truckload of plastic into the ocean every single minute. ➡️ The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is 80,000 metric tonnes of plastic. That’s the same weight as 500 fully loaded Boeing 747 airplanes just floating in the ocean. ➡️ Just 1,000 of the world’s most polluted rivers account for 80% of ocean plastic pollution. Imagine 1,000 highways funnelling plastic waste directly into the sea. ➡️ By 2050, there could be more plastic than fish in the ocean. That’s a world where nets catch more plastic bottles than tuna. ➡️ Traditional vinyl records contribute to millions of kilograms of plastic waste each year. That’s enough plastic to wrap around the entire Earth multiple times. They are setting precedence for what is possible when creativity meets tech! Video - The Ocean Cleanup

🌍👏 Incredible work, BAFTA & WeAreALBERT! It’s inspiring to see major events leading the way in sustainable production. From green energy to zero diesel generators, every step makes a difference! Sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s a commitment, and this sets a great example for the industry. Let’s keep pushing for greener productions across the board! 💚♻️ #SustainableFilmmaking #GreenProductions #EEBAFTAs #albert
At albert, we're helping productions reduce their environmental impact and work towards being more sustainable. But when it came down to the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2025, how did we work with the production team to ensure the show was produced with sustainability in mind?🤔🏆🎬 Here's the steps BAFTA took to make the awards a greener production: ✅Zero Diesel Generators - We committed to a diesel-free event, choosing cleaner energy alternatives for all our power needs. ✅Green Electricity - The Royal Festival Hall within Southbank Centre was powered by green electricity, helping us reduce the event's carbon footprint. ✅Reuse/Recycling of set and props - We prioritised sustainability by reusing and recycling our set and props, giving them a second life. ✅Shared transport - Attendees were encouraged to carpool or use more sustainable transport options, minimizing emissions and reducing our carbon footprint. ✅Sustainable fashion - We encouraged staff and guests to re-wear and hire outfits for the event. supporting slow fashion and reducing waste. ✅Sustainably sourced food served as part of the evening meal. We're proud of the sustainable actions we've made, together we can make a difference to any production!
