New York’s 3sixteen and Crocs have joined forces for a one-of-a-kind clog, a partnership that’s been a decade in the making.

In a blog post detailing the collaboration, 3sixteen founders Andrew Chen and Johan Lam recall meeting Tony Pace, who now oversees Crocs’ clog division, at a pop-up flea market about 10 years ago. At the time, Pace had been working at Oak Street Bootmakers but the three kept in touch over the years. More recently, Pace has shown 3sixteen his latest addition to Crocs’ lineup, the modern Dylan Clog.

As fans of the Dylan Clog, 3sixteen proposed that they design their own clog for Crocs. The Crocs for 3sixteen Woven Dylan Clog reimagines the modern silhouette with a faux woven pattern. While the Dylan is made to mimic the look of leather, the 3sixteen version uses a rubber molded pattern to appear as if the leather is threaded. The designers say that they were inspired by the look of Mexican huaraches.

Jibbitz adorn the side of the shoe, subtly boasting the 3sixteen brand logo. The feel of the clog stays true to Dylan with a simple, sculpted sole.

Arriving in a “Concrete” color, 3sixteen carried over the shade from its recent SS24 collection. Fittingly, the 3sixteen clogs were photographed by Vinny Picone in a campaign of a sculptor chipping away at cement while wearing the clogs.

The Crocs for 3sixteen Woven Dylan Clog launches online and in stores on Thursday, June 27 at 12 p.m. ET for $70 USD.
