🏀 Exciting Times in Galway! 🏀 We are thrilled to announce that the 12th International Galway Masters Basketball tournament kicks off today at Kingfisher Fitness Club University of Galway! This fantastic event, supported by Comhairle Cathrach na Gaillimhe / Galway City Council, Fáilte Ireland & Galway Convention Bureau , brings together 45 teams from Ireland, USA, UK, and Europe for a weekend of thrilling basketball action and camaraderie. The Galway Masters Basketball Association, founded in 2011, has been dedicated to promoting masters basketball and hosting this prestigious international tournament in Galway City. With eight divisions ranging from Men’s 40s to 65s and Women’s 40s to 55s, the tournament promises top-class competition and a vibrant social atmosphere. We extend a warm welcome to all participants and wish them the best of luck for the weekend ahead. The celebrations will culminate in a gala dinner at the Galway Bay Hotel on Sunday night.
