About us
The Irish Medical Organisation was formed in 1984 following the amalgamation of the Irish Medical Association and the Irish Medical Union, to act as the national representative medical organisation linking all branches of the medical profession in Ireland. The role of the IMO is to represent doctors in Ireland and to provide them with all relevant services. It is committed to the development of a caring, efficient and effective Health Service.
