Congratulations to the Neonatal Unit at the Rotunda Hospital for winning NCHD Project of the Year at the Irish Healthcare Awards 2024! Noel O'Brien was the first patient in the country to undergo Avalus Ultra valve implant surgery. Congratulations to Professor Alan Soo, Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and his surgical team at University Hospital Galway (UHG) who completed this groundbreaking surgery.
