    📢 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 The recently enacted Maternity Protection, Employment Equality and Preservation of Certain Records Act 2024 commenced on a staggered basis and all parts of the legislation are now in force. One of the key provisions in the legislation is a new entitlement for an Employee who requires ongoing treatment for a serious health condition (including physical and mental health conditions), to postpone maternity leave for a period of between 5 and 52 weeks.
