Francisco M Lucas Hernández: “Our team here in Madrid bring a wide range of perspectives to the table. This means we always deliver predictably for our client.” The EHS Advisor plays a key role in driving Mercury’s WorkSafe, HomeSafe culture each day on a complex project in the Spanish capital. “My role involves carrying out many different safety procedures, leading inductions, coordinating works, and supporting our supply chain. I also conduct safety audits and identify and solve any potential risks to ensure our people get home safely each day.” Front of mind for Francisco is “that the project is delivered safely and efficiently.” Having grown up in Salamanca and studied Technical Architecture, he recommends Mercury because “the standards at every level of the project are very high. You are working with a team of experts, and it helps you become the best professional you can be.” What is Francisco’s favourite part of his role? “Working on a big project like this is very rewarding, I enjoy helping people to adopt a safety mindset. Supporting the UNSDG of Good Health and Wellbeing, Mercury proudly participated in the Clash of the Companies event in aid of Children’s Health Foundation earlier this year. Our amazing team of five joined the Dublin business community for a fun, clue-solving adventure, testing teamwork and problem-solving skills—all while raising funds and awareness for sick children attending Irish hospitals and urgent care centres. As a key sponsor, Mercury donated €8,000 to this incredible initiative. This contribution helps provide cutting-edge life-saving equipment for faster diagnosis and better outcomes, as well as vital psychological supports for children and their families during challenging times. We’re proud to support organisations like the Children's Health Foundation, playing our part in creating healthier, stronger communities wherever we operate. 🌍❤️

This year has been filled with remarkable achievements and significant growth, all made possible by our people and partners’ hard work and dedication.
