Last Friday, we kicked off the festivities with a company get-together and gathered for some delicious home-cooked food, allowing us to take a break from our busy schedules and appreciate each other’s company. Our very own Geoffrey Moran took center stage to announce the incredible successes we've achieved this year. At SAP Landscapes, our dedicated team from the Interior Plants division, affectionately known at this time of year as the "Elves", have been tirelessly working over the past two weeks to infuse corporate spaces with a touch of magic. Fiona is a familiar face here as she is married to our very own Patrick McCormack, a long-standing employee of our landscapes division - yes the one who took ownership of our new vans last week! Pat and Fiona, alongside their two children, are dedicated beekeepers managing native Irish honey bees on the scenic banks of the River Inny near Abbeyshrule, Co. Longford. Their honey, known for its purity and coarsely filtered texture, is packed with natural antibacterial properties and antioxidants. Wow, what an incredible week it’s been for us at SAP Landscapes! Rosie Lennon and the team have been out and about promoting the vibrant career opportunities within our industry, and the response has been amazing. Kicking things off at the Maynooth Education Campus our passionate MD Geoffrey Moran and Operations Manager Povilas Okleiteris shared their insights on why our industry is such a fantastic career choice to the students contemplating their all-important career choices. Today at Careers Open Day at the Teagasc facility in Ashtown, Niall Keenan, one of our long-standing team members with over 30 years commitment, spoke to many horticulture students and demonstrated the rewarding nature of growing with our industry & our organisation. Over these events, we had the pleasure of engaging with a diverse crowd, from all age brackets and genders, all eager to explore what we offer.
