Thanks to Ian Kiely for the donation to SAM of the very first RPAS licence issued by the IAA 0001, very cool!
In 2015 I was the first person to receive a physical drone licence from the Irish Aviation Authority. Licence 0001. Today I donated it to Shannon Aviation Museum at the AvCon - The Future of Aviation conference hosted by Irish Air Corps

We had a fantastic time at AvCon - The Future of Aviation today, congratulations and very well done Fiona O. TY Hub Irish Air Corps for a marvellous event! Delighted to meet so many interested TY students and particularly great introduce the very cool looking ladies to a super quick practical flying lesson, great talent as always, they always exceed their own expectations. We had great fun with the lads too, some already with their sights on the horizon line and making very impressive landings on our Dreamflyer. We had life vest demos with Sarah and Ruslana, a very valuable lesson in flight safety and the role of the cabin crew., and we had an assortment of aircraft parts, flight instruments and whatever we could get in the van on display! And it was to meet all our colleagues and friends there who all have an interest in promoting aviation as a career to young people. #avcon #shannonaviationmuseum #tycareer #avaition #nextgen

Well done ladies, especially great to see young creative writers emerging, and hearing how they imagined themselves in her shoes, be they flying boots or the stilettoes she insisted in travelling with apparently!
