Get to know Ann Bulter, the first Deputy President in the more than 100-year history of Sligo Chamber of Commerce! Ann is the Director of Higgins Pharmacy Sligo. Working with twin sister Deirdre, they have modernised business operations through the introduction of an app, online sales and appointment booking facilities. Their impressive developments earned Higgins Pharmacy a nomination in the Innovation category of the Sligo Chamber Business Awards. 🏆 Her 20 years of experience in community pharmacy will stand to her in her role as a support to Sligo Chamber President Fintan Kennedy. Meet our new president, Fintan Kennedy.👋 Fintan recently completed a four-year term as chair of Sligo LEADER Partnership and now lectures in business at the Atlantic Technological University in Sligo. He has a wealth of experience, serving as Branch Manager of FBD Insurance for 20 years and then setting up Agile Risk Solutions, a business continuity consultancy in 2021. We are delighted to have Fintan join as president and we are incredibly excited to see the positive effect he has on the business landscape in our county. The Sligo Chamber of Commerce President, Fintan Kennedy, is delighted to host the President’s Christmas Lunch 2024 with guest speaker Cathal Sheridan, Head of Sport and Performance Psychology with Munster Rugby. This a fantastic opportunity to hear from a leading sports and performance psychologist 🙌 Cathal Sheridan is the Head of Sport and Performance Psychology with Munster Rugby. Cathal also serves as the lead Sports Psych with Rowing Ireland, where the team have just come home from their most successful Olympic games to date. He is also a former professional rugby player with Munster Rugby. He lives in Limerick with his wife , Sarah, and their two young children. A Sligo Man from Ransboro, who started his Rugby career with Sligo Rugby Underage, is passionate about his roots and was involved in the backroom team of the Sligo U20 Gaelic Football Connacht champions in 2022. Following Fintan Kennedy's appointment as Sligo Chamber President, we are delighted to announce that Ann Butler has been appointed Deputy President. 🙌 Anne said: “I’m delighted to become Deputy President of Sligo Chamber and excited about representing Sligo business and lobbying for them at both a local and national level.” Ann is the Director of Higgins Pharmacy Sligo. Working with twin sister Deirdre, the qualified pharmacist took over the business at the intersection of Teeling Street and Market Cross in Sligo town in 2016. Her drive to develop the business led to the introduction of its online sales platform and app, which earned Higgins Pharmacy a nomination in the Innovation category of the Sligo Chamber Business Awards. 🏆 #SligoChamber
