The Chamber was formed in response to local business needs and operates under the direction of a voluntary Council representing business from all sections of the community. Sligo Chamber is accredited to Chambers Ireland, Ireland’s largest business network with 60 member chambers representing 13,000 businesses on the island of Ireland. The Chamber is based in Quay Street in Sligo City. The Quay Street Office is owned by the Chamber.

Meet our new president, Fintan Kennedy.👋 Fintan recently completed a four-year term as chair of Sligo LEADER Partnership and now lectures in business at the Atlantic Technological University in Sligo. He has a wealth of experience, serving as Branch Manager of FBD Insurance for 20 years and then setting up Agile Risk Solutions, a business continuity consultancy in 2021. This a fantastic opportunity to hear from a leading sports and performance psychologist 🙌 Cathal Sheridan is the Head of Sport and Performance Psychology with Munster Rugby. Cathal also serves as the lead Sports Psych with Rowing Ireland, where the team have just come home from their most successful Olympic games to date. He is also a former professional rugby player with Munster Rugby. He lives in Limerick with his wife , Sarah, and their two young children. A Sligo Man from Ransboro, who started his Rugby career with Sligo Rugby Underage, is passionate about his roots and was involved in the backroom team of the Sligo U20 Gaelic Football Connacht champions in 2022.
