We're delighted to have won the Employer of the Year Award at the Kilkenny Chamber Kilkenny Business Awards last Saturday night. With over 260 highly skilled employees in our Kilkenny office and roots that go back to the 1960's we are honoured to be among the 20 Kilkenny companies recognised at the awards dinner. Last week we had the opportunity to exhibit at the All Ireland Water & Wastewater Expo with our colleagues from Veolia Water Technologies Ireland and Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. Water is a critical resource and it was great to see the variety of solutions and technologies available to help maintain the highest standards of water quality in Ireland. #water #wastewater #EcologicalTransformation

Our teams across Ireland are working closely with Uisce Éireann Irish Water as we implement their  'Am I SAFE?' campaign. We are focusing on enhancing #safety awareness across the water infrastructure projects we are delivering for Uisce Éireann. Making sure our employees are safe is a key priority for us. This week we held our Veolia Connectors Conference. Over 100 people from all areas of our business in Ireland and Northern Ireland - waste, water and energy/utilities - gathered to celebrate what we have achieved and collectively develop our plans for 2025 and beyond. We discussed new and innovative solutions to deliver decarbonisation, improve water quality and the treatment of complex waste streams. Adebola Olomo joined us to talk about the power of Gen AI to supercharge our delivery for customers and Hazel Ahern-Flynn from Ibec provided fantastic insight into the wider economic environment. Last week, some of our employees in Blanchardstown had the privilege of volunteering at St. Francis Hospice Dublin. We rolled up our sleeves for a great cause by helping to tidy up the gardens and planting bulbs. We're thrilled to announce that our Veolia Haz Waste team has been honoured with TWO Distinction Health and Safety awards from the National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) at the Annual All-Ireland Occupational Health and Safety Awards ceremony. 🌟 Our Fermoy Hazardous Waste site and Veolia team at a major semiconductor manufacturer were both recognised for their outstanding health and safety excellence. This remarkable achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to safety and our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in the industry. We're incredibly proud of our teams for consistently prioritising safety and ensuring it remains at the forefront of everything we do. Last month, our employees dedicated their time by volunteering at local community gardens across Ireland.
