During this challenging year, our thoughts and prayers are with those affected, and we hold hope for the safe return of the hostages🎗️. We remain committed to supporting our communities and standing together in solidarity. As we approach the New Year, we also take a moment to reflect on the milestones and meaningful work we accomplished together in 2024: ▶️ Launched 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 to advance a sustainable energy future: Women in Energy corporate governance program, CEO Academy, EPOT, ΔE Generation, EI2C, SPARK Tank and Energy Tech Week. ▶️Organized over 𝟱𝟬 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 to foster collaboration and strengthen our community. ▶️ Collaborated on 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 in Texas and Paris, bridging local insights with global opportunities. ▶️ Introduced 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀, the Energy Tech Map and the Muni Energy Navigator, providing critical insights into the evolving energy landscape. ▶️Built over 𝟭𝟭𝟮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, highlighting collaboration as the cornerstone of success and advancing our shared vision for the future of energy. Moreover, we led and contributed to three unique efforts to support Israel during the difficult times of the war and the events of October 7. One of these initiatives is still in progress - 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, working tirelessly to make an impact. We remain deeply dedicated to creating meaningful solutions for a sustainable energy future, with significant updates to share very soon. A heartfelt thanks to our incredible partners, including Startup Nation Central, Tadiran Group, E.ON Israel Ltd., Workiz, the Israel Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure - משרד האנרגיה והתשתיות of Energy, and the unwavering support of IEC - Israel Electric Corporation חברת החשמל לישראל בע"מ in WIE, for their invaluable contributions to this journey! 𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗧 𝟮𝟰, 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲! This session invited our pioneers to dive into the challenges of scaling energy startups, uncovering how regulation can act as both a barrier and an enabler, while exploring diverse strategies for achieving impactful growth across multiple perspectives. We kicked off the day with a fascinating tour at Addionics, led by COO Eitan Hochster, who provided an in-depth look into their cutting-edge battery technology. From there, we continued to Herzog, where we received an outstanding welcome (thank you Gal Alcorat!!) and an insightful session on regulation from Mark Phillips and Einat Steiner. Their expertise sparked engaging discussions among our pioneers. One of the day’s highlights was an engaging panel discussion on CVCs and multinational utilities, featuring: Doron Ariel Shpasser, from E.ON Israel Ltd. Rinat Yogev, from GM Ventures Amit Peri, from SE Ventures Roee Furman, from Doral Energy-Tech Ventures Next, we shifted gears with a focused AI workshop led by Talya Vaish from DatA-IL Innovation community that introduced participants to innovative AI tools and approaches. To wrap things up, Eshel Lipman delivered a pinpoint session on Carbon Math, equipping our pioneers with essential knowledge for tackling carbon-related challenges. We’re looking forward to the final session, where our program pioneers will pitch their ideas and share the innovative solutions they’ve been developing.
