Today I joined the webinar "Conferences on a Shoestring" hosted by RAINMAKERS with Adir Zimerman, featuring the amazing Shiri Katalan and Assa Eldar 🔥. They shared invaluable insights from both marketing and logistics perspectives, covering everything from “𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵??” to “𝘛𝘰 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘩?” Here are 3 key takeaways I learned today: 1️⃣ 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝒊𝒔 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 The people representing your brand at the event (and booth, if you choose to have one) need to fit the role. Engaging with attendees is not for everyone, and a successful event often hinges on having the right team on the ground. 2️⃣ 𝑳𝑬𝑴𝑶𝑵𝑺! (Or Something Just as Creative) A quirky idea like placing lemons with your logo around the venue can draw attention and spark curiosity. Attendees will pick them up, talk about them, and ultimately come to your booth. Whether it’s lemons or something just as bizarre- creativity is key! 3️⃣ 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒑 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 Logos on SWAG aren’t what people remember. Instead, focus on how you make them feel during the interaction. Memorable conversations, great hosting, and occasionally, a solid demo will leave the lasting impression. See you next Event 👏
