“The extra income helped me buy 20 cents of land recently.” Gunda Bhaskar Rao, a paddy farmer, adopted the Seed Drill Machine through our Climate Action initiative. By attaching the Seed Drill to his tractor, Bhaskar now sows seeds in straight lines, allowing better airflow and sunlight to reach the crops. This simple shift has reduced pest attacks, improved yields, and cut labour costs—saving him around Rs 2,000 per acre each season. Beyond his land, he rents the machine to sow on another 25 acres, boosting his income and creating opportunities to expand his farm.
