Next milestone in the Indo-German Corridor for Science-based Entrepreneurship - Innovators Connect Tandem 2024! ✔️ Last week in Hyderabad, 13 Indo-German teams pitched their innovative ideas, marking the finale of a two-week journey of innovation and collaboration. 28 participants blended their research expertise with entrepreneurship skills. Additionally, during the programme over 200 people, including 15+ managers of incubation programmes, 40+ mentors, and 50+ start-ups founders were connected across disciplinary and geographical borders. 🚀 The mission? Joint technology development, early-stage international exposure, and ideation for start-up creation while exploring the ecosystems of India and Germany. Some standout ideas that emerged: ✅ A life-saving patch against snakebites providing time to reach the hospital. ✅ An interactive shrimp-board to help farmers protect their harvest. ✅ A portable device for early detection of chronic diseases based onretina imaging ✅ A platform connecting coconut vendors with small-scale manufacturers for efficient coconut waste trading. ✅ An Algae-integrated direct air capture system for carbon What makes this programme unique? ✨ Intensive work in #Indo-German teams, leveraging design thinking, business modeling, and mentoring across incubators in #Bangalore, #Bhubaneshwar, and #Hyderabad. But what truly sets it apart is the cross-disciplinary, cross-border collaboration. A big thank you to all participants, mentors, speakers, and supporting incubators for making this programme a success. Together, we are building bridges between the Indian and German #innovation ecosystems, creating pathways for innovative solutions. 🙌 Big congratulations winning teams Gaurvanshi G. and Anjani Kumar Upadhyay, Pooja Barak, PhD and Julian Rasmus Bankwitz, Henri Tertilt and Dr. Bijayananda Panigrahi !! 🎉 Cheers to all participants for your impactful ideas Joyal Mathew Fabian.H Sarah Mayrhofer Maximilian Bode Julius Römer Dipendra Yadav Frederic Braun Miriam Sawczyc Pragati Parakkat Ahmad Hemid Philipp Rentschler Mertcan Kaya Anchal Chandra Abhisek Nayak Shantanu Sen Deepak Sethi Tanush Prem Saravanakumar Dharmaraj Sri Harsha Paladugu Sankara Rao Kola Dr Ruwise EA Abhishek Gaikar Katja Lasch Aadishree Jamkhedkar Anjani Miglani Ramneet Mehta DAAD India DAAD German Academic Exchange Service Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office) Germany Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) KIIT-Technology Business Incubator Atal Incubation Centre - CCMB Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development, IISc Bangalore ASPIRE BioNEST CIE IIIT Hyderabad T-Hub IKP Knowledge Park #DWIHTandem #DWIHonentreprenuership
